🗣️ "Abby started at age 6 with Stand Up 8 Dance studio in fall of 2020, right before pandemic hit. The ladies at the studio did they best they could with remote classes, but let’s face it, nothing went right at that time. Our family experienced a tragedy when our daughter Maya, Abby’s twin sister, was diagnosed with DIPG (Fatal Brain Cancer). While Maya was sick, these ladies did everything they could to help Abby and our family. After Maya passed away in January 2022, the ladies offered to pay Abby’s tuition for rest of the year because they didn’t know any other way to help. They helped more than they’ll ever know. Dance has played an important part of Abby’s recovery from the loss of her sister and they continue to do so today. She has grown as a dancer and a young lady and I owe so much to the ladies at Stand Up 8!"
