The Duke’s Malibu ‘ohana is sending all of its love to Maui ❤️❤️ For a limited time, we will be selling the ‘Kimo’s Strong’ tees in every T S Restaurant location with proceeds going to the Legacy of Aloha Foundation to provide continual support to our employees, and employees of Maui Brewing Co., that have been affected by the fires.

A year later, Maui is still feeling the impact of the fire that devastated Lahaina on August 8, 2023. The cleanup efforts are ongoing, many are still in temporary housing, and basic services such as childcare continue to be disrupted. Today our T S ‘Ohana wears a special “Kimo’s Strong” shirt in Lahaina red to honor the resilience of the Maui community and in memory of all that was lost. Meet our Sous Chef👩🏻‍🍳, Brenda Bugarin, who joined our Culinary Team towards the end of 2023 and it has been nothing short of amazing! Brenda grew up in Pomona, California, aka P-Town. She fell in love with cooking at the age of 7 years old, helping her Abuelita in Zacatecas, Mexico 🇲🇽cook and make fresh masa everyday as a young girl. She attended Le Cordon Bleu where she expanded her skillset and started working professionally in kitchens soon after. Fast forward 9 years to her being the newest member of our team, she has totally revamped our Taco Tuesday🌮 menu and comes up with new ideas daily in the kitchen. When she isn’t cooking some of the best tacos you’ve ever had, you can find her in the tattoo shop adding to her beautiful artwork, catching the latest horror movie in theaters, or finding the most beautiful scenic views California has to offer. She also has two adorable cats, Phillip and Vesp, who are her fur babies and are her favorite things in the world! 🐱🌎
