Ladies and gentlemen, we are proud, we are honored and we are humbled yet again at the outpouring of love and support we saw again this year for the 13th Annual Bats For Matt Softball Tournament. We can't do it without you, all of you! We're not just talking about the players. It is 100% always a team effort. All the time and energy spent behind the scenes getting the fields ready for game day, gathering up all of the donations and raffle items, momma c doing all the cooking and food prep, all the help we received in the shack throughout the weekend, manning the raffle and t-shirt tables and the many helping hands offered throughout the weekend, the tournament is nowhere near where it is today without each and every one of you. So when we say thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we truly mean it.

Enough from us, here are the words directly from Momma C's mouth:

"Hello everyone! Well, you did it again. Another fun filled successful loving year for Bats for Matt. This was the lowest turnout we ever had team wise with only 13 signed up. We always average between 18 and 20. But guess what? We still raised a little over $8,200. Unfrickingbelievable!!!!! This is the average we bring in every year. I can't tell you how much it means to me to see each and every one of you come back year after year. It just melts my heart and brings tears to my eyes. And for those of you just joining us, please don't ever stop. What a special treat having Rob Long come back as well. It feels like each year gets better than the one before. NEWSFLASH #4 For those of you that didn't hear: MOMMA C SCORED TWICE THIS YEAR. Woohoo!!! I've only ever scored 2 times in 12 years. I was thinking of throwing in the towel but maybe not after this. Again everyone, thank you thank you thank you. Please know that I love each and every one of you and hold you all deeply in my heart and can never thank you enough for coming out to support us and show your love for Matthew. You know he's sucking this all up. I hope to see you all again next year. Till then, be safe, be good, stay strong and Godspeed! All my love, Momma C"
