Congratulations to our Support functions team for winning this year's Giving Tuesday contest! They selected SkillsUSA to receive an additional $25,000 from the SGNA Foundation. The Canada and SPG/Commercial Building Envelope teams came in second and third place, selecting Habitat for Humanity Canada and Habitat for Humanity which will receive $10,000 and $5,000 respectively.

The demand for housing remains strong, as shown in today's monthly new construction report and housing start numbers for November. CEO Mark Rayfield joined Bloomberg Market Americas today to talk about the six-month high in US housing starts.

This week, we celebrate the 50th anniversary of our CertainTeed Canada plant in Montreal. Congratulations to the team on this momentous occasion, and we cannot wait to see what the future has in store, especially with the electrification of the plant well under way!
