Rosa's La Scarbitta will be reopening as Rosa’s Cucina Italiana at our new location at 410 W Boston Post Road in Mamaroneck, NY.

This past year, Rosa and I worked together to create a space that embodies her taste, recipes, and passion for authentic Italian cuisine.

Rosa will be greatly missed, but her legacy will live on through the restaurant's dishes and warm atmosphere. Her sous chef and mentee of over 10 years, Liberato, will take on the role as head chef. Rosa thought of Liberato as family and trusted him on her busiest nights.

The menu has been crafted with care to reflect Rosa’s original family recipes that many of you have grown to enjoy as well as her newer creations.

We are so incredibly saddened to share that our beloved Chef, friend, and family Rosa Merenda passed away peacefully. Her spirit and recipes will live on forever. She loved her customers and felt that they were part of her family.
