The Wine:
This month’s pick is coming from Mendoza, Argentina and is a blend of 55% Malbec, 16% Merlat, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Syrah, 3% Petit Verdot, 2% Cab Franc. Malbecs are known for being big, bold, and tannic. I believe this unique blend of grapes creates something that both Malbec enthusiasts and people new to the varietal can enjoy. The blend is created by Michel Roland, known for Bordeaux. Bringing this style of wine making into Argentina created a truly unique gem.

Event Details:
It will be a happy hour and appetizer event in our beautiful dining room beside the wine cellar, or outside in the beer garden if the weather permits. I will have the wine of the month opened and decanted for free tastes and glasses for $7. I also will have appetizers supplied for $10 a person. The event will last an hour, give or take, but all diners are welcome to stay and hangout with us until Carmello’s closes. I will also be offering 15% off any Carmello’s or Monza food items to members during the event.
