Personal story day. I remember being bullied at school for being overweight. I desperately wanted to look like my friends. Being slim was the same as being happy in my mind. Things I did to my body to loose weigh? I starved myself for over two weeks, lived on 500 cal a day diets, ate vegan, ate keto, worked out with personal trainer. I tried it all and lost over 100 lb in my life time and gained it back. In 2020 I was diagnosed with cancer. Chemo was so intense that it changed my body forever. When it was over I gained 40 lb in 3 months period. I was heartbroken again. I did not liked the way I looked. One day I was passing a mirror and caught my reflection. Big belly, puffy face, stretched skin. I stoped to look at myself. After a while I start crying. The longer I looked the more I realized that my body is perfect. It went through so much pain and yet it was able to heal and bring me back to life. I gave myself a huge hug and kept repeating I love you..I love you..I love you. Self love is a journey.
