With a new year right around the corner, what is one of your goals for 2024?

Toastmasters is more than just a club, it's more than just a thing we go to every week. Toastmasters is where we build our leadership skills, develop our communications skills, build our confidence in ourselves to be able to stand proud. But the one thing that no one really knows - is that Toastmasters is where we build solid friendships! If you haven't been to a meeting in a bit - come and check it out - you'll be very surprised at how we all fit together and are building relationships while building on ourselves too!

It was a lot of work, but definitely worth doing it with Cindy by my side. Very proud of both our accomplishments!

Toastmasters, you’ve done so much for me! Where do I start? Leadership, self developement, organization, speaking skills, confidence…to say I’ve hit the top of all I can do through Toastmasters, NO WAY! Hitting my 2nd Distinquished Toastmasters achievement is really something! And I’m grateful for those that helped me along the way! Here’s to the next go around, wherever that brings me!

Gearing up for our Speech-a-thon tomorrow morning where we will listen to over 5 speeches followed up by evaluations!!

Last week's meeting was packed full with Speeches, Table Topics (impromptu hypothetical) and even a Millyard Toastmasters induction!

Here’s to the close of a year, and the beginning of another!

We are more than a club! We help member practice their Capstones and polish their presentations! One of our members was on a team with 2 non-members and had to present a Capstone project for their masters class and asked to practice the presentation in front of our club for feed back. We did and their presentation was top notch! Way to go Millyard!

And this just happened! Congratulations Kelley Demers, District Director of the year, for 2022…better late then never! So proud to see you grow and achieve!!

We all work together as a team for the clubs success - and as Presidents Distinguished for at least 6 years in a row - I'm proud to say - we are a successful club who works together as a team!

Here's to our new officers and another year ahead!

Our meetings - we have speakers, always educating us or making us laugh! - we have a timer, to keep us on task! - we have grammarians, Ah counter to keep our language clear and on point, and a word of the day to expand our vocabulary too!
