Zeva was surrendered to the rescue by her original owner who could not give the life she deserved. Neighbors were threatening to shoot this beauty because she was difficult to contain. Zeva is your typical husky; she is two years old, smart, beautiful, energetic, and very friendly with everyone she meets. She did great with the kids, other dogs, and cats on the property too. Atlantis was a BIG fan of his trip to Mcdonald’s for a vanilla cone! This sweet 5 month old puppy is great on car rides, loves to play with toys, extremely dog friendly, and enjoys snuggling! It’s official! Gabby is ADOPTED!!! 🥳

Gabby went into a foster late last December to prepare herself to start heartworm treatment… little did she know this was her home since day one! During these long couple of months, Gabby has been a trooper getting the shots needed to make herself healthy again! Country Acres is so thrilled to see Gabby and each of her ten babies find their happily ever afters. Congratulations Gabby! 🐮

This black & white beauty is LOVING life with her foster mom but we hope her furrever family comes to adopt her soon! 🐮

Charcoal has really made a huge turn around of being in this home for only a month. We have learned she is VERY snuggly, goofy, and one smart cookie! She’s learned to sit & lie down on command; even knows how to wait by the door when it’s being opened! Charcoal is also a big fan of playing fetch, loves trying new treats, gets excited to go on short walks, and does well in her crate! If her future home could have another doggy to help with her confidence and someone to slowly continue working with her, we think she could find a family in no time! Please give this beautiful girl a chance that she deserves!

🚨 Ethan is STILL MISSING!!! 🚨

*Lost near BALCON ESTATES & CREVE COEUR*

This sweet 2 year old male golden retriever has been missing since 3/1/2024. He was lost near Balcon Estates in Creve Coeur Missouri. Goes by the name Ethan and he lost his collar while on the run. Approach slowly, Ethan is friendly with people but a little shy with new friends!

Meet our National Parks! 🏞️

Yosemite, Zion, Everglade, and Shenandoah (runt) are 4 month old Aussie mixes who came from a small town in Arkansas. Their mother unfortunately passed away and these babies had to be bottle fed to stay alive… two sadly did not make it. Luckily, these puppies were kept safe until our rescue had some openings! All four of these cuties have been socialized well with other dogs and children so they’d definitely make a great family member! Yosemite and Shenandoah are the smallest kiddos of the bunch but have the CUTEST brindle markings and most cuddliest personalities!! Everglade’s striking red fluffy coat easily catches everyone’s eyes but I promise she’s even cuter in person! Lastly, Zion, the only male looks like a little Oreo blizzard with his beautiful speckles and clearly has that “sweet” look down! These pups stand out well with their unique markings and affectionate personality, Country Acres just knows anyone who meets them will instantly fall in love!

Meet the newest rescues of Country Acres! 🍋🫐🍍

Lemon, Blueberry, and Pineapple are six month old Aussie mix puppies who were found living underneath an old barn in Cadet, Missouri. This sweet bunch first found shelter with C.A.R.E - Coalition for Animal Rescue & Education before coming to Country Acres Rescue in late March. Lemon has the most beautiful strawberry blonde curly coat and always loves to snuggle. Similar to her sister, Blueberry has a gorgeous tri-colored and way coat; she is also extremely affectionate with everyone! Pineapple, the only boy, has a striking red colored coat and is a big zoomie kind of guy! All three puppies are great with other dogs, friendly with kids, and would make an AWESOME family dog! You just have to meet these fruity cuties!

It’s been awhile since we took a pup to Starbucks so of course Chef had to take this opportunity immediately!!!🍦

Chef is a 5 month old great dane mix who is friendly with other dogs, great on car rides, loves a game of chase, and would be a wonderful family dog! This sweet boy enjoyed his first puppuchino trip but his biggest wish is to go more once he’s adopted!! Country Acres just knows you’ll fall in love with this floppy and handsome boy right away!

This is NOT an adoption post! These three lab great dane mixed puppies had their own spa day in hopes of someone seeing how handsome they are and wish to take one home!

Astronaut, Pilot, and Chef are the last 3 boys from the Barbie litter. They have been waiting months to find a family to bring them home and give them the life they deserve! All 3 puppies are friendly with other dogs/kids, currently five months old, absolutely adore toys, and would benefit from basic puppy training! These sweet boys were briefly in a home before but were over stimulated and would do best with someone experienced with socializing high energy pups! 🐮 C H A R C O A L 🐮

Not sure if anyone remembers her heartbreaking story, but this sweet lady came to the rescue in May 2023 after her mom and 5 other siblings escaped from a toxic lifestyle. This sweet little family lived in the middle of nowhere, was often locked in a wooden box that didn’t have an exit, and neighbors were threatening to “hunt them all down and shoot every one of them.” Luckily, Country Acres saw they needed help and made sure there was space for all SEVEN of them!

Flash forward to today and poor Charcoal is the last pup of the Camping Litter patiently waiting to be adopted. However, there is still some good news to Charcoals story. A couple weeks ago Charcoal had the opportunity to go into a lovely foster that would work on her people skills and help find her furrever family. So we proudly wanted to inform you we have learned some great qualities this beautiful girlie has finally shown! First off Charcoal is a little shy, she may take some time to feel comfortable with you but once she does she will be your BEST friend. Charcoal is also extremely dog friendly, so we think she would benefit best with another doggy companion! Charcoal has also been becoming more confident with walks, is 100% potty/crate trained, and even has a favorite ball toy to play with!!

Country Acres honestly thought her beautiful cow like markings, adorable smile, and tallest ears would have easily landed her a home.. but hopefully this foster will get her adopted soon! Charcoal is a 1 year old shepherd mix, approximately about 45 lbs, great with other dogs, and just too cute. Come learn how to meet Charcoal today and get her that family she deserves!
