You must have a clear focus and direction of the Spirit as we migrate into a day of understanding the purposes and mission of kingdom based prayer in this new season.

We must constantly desire the feelings, emotion and thought of the Father within our innermost being, so we can also please him even in our intercessory engagement.

The idols of humanistic philosophy and a weak cultural belief system that pollutes your ability to be effective as a believer, can no longer be allowed to continue. Your attention and focus must be to continually tie our emotions, our thoughts and our desires on the purifying altar of the Spirit as the fresh word of the Lord is being poured forth.

Agreement with any obsolete religious templates of thinking must be divorced; and we must seek the ancient pathway that leads to the preferred place in Christ in this new day

2 Cor 6:16
16 What agreement [can there be between] a temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God; even as God said, I will dwell in and with and among them and will walk in and with and among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. AMP

1 Peter 1:7 King James Version
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
Do you feel like you are walking through the fire?

Trials are not pleasant to us, but they do test our faith.

1 Peter 1:7 Living Bible
7 These trials are only to test your faith, to see whether or not it is strong and pure. It is being tested as fire tests gold and purifies it—and your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold; so if your faith remains strong after being tried in the test tube of fiery trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day of his return.

So, look for the good news. What is it? You may be in the fire today, but God is on control of the thermostat. He knows how hot it should be. Can you think of anyone better to trust with the thermostat that the God of all grace?

From time to time, (ok most of the time) I need His correction. I don’t like it, but I need it. Without it I would continue in my own way and ‘run in vain’ and that would be a tragedy.

Every test has degrees. Only God knows the temperature to melt away my imperfections and set me free to do His will. Remember the three Hebrew children? When you belong to God, the fire only burns off the ties that bind you and that sets you free to fulfill God’s purposes.

Take a moment to consider what He has brought you through. He has invested to much in you to let you sink. Job knew this and said this:

10 But he knows every detail of what is happening to me; and when he has examined me, he will pronounce me completely innocent—as pure as solid gold!

You will come through this. And remember that there is a bigger picture here. Others are watching. They want to know if your God is able. David said, ‘Many will see…and will trust in the Lord.’

Be ecouraged today. You will come out of the victoriously.

The Lord knows where you are and how much gas you have left in your tank. Just before you run out, He will provide. He will get back to you in time. I have been at the 11th hour many times and God has never failed me.

It is painful to feel like you are overlooked or forgotten. You've been faithful, sacrificed, given your best, and now you are wondering, 'Does anyone know that I am around?' God does. Listen to this:

Psalm 139:17-18

17-18 How precious it is, Lord, to realize that you are thinking about me constantly! I can’t even count how many times a day your thoughts turn toward me. And when I waken in the morning, you are still thinking of me!

God's records are so complete that he saves your tears, knows the hair on your head, and your sacrifices. He is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love that you have shown.

There is a wind coming from the presence of God that will blow away ever hindrance you have faced and dry the ground under your feet. God is about to breath a fresh anointing into your life and let you know you are not forgotten. Rejoice, this is His Word to you.

Do you feel like everything is up in the air? Why?
God's watch (if He wears one) is set to accomplish His purpose and not ours.
I remember once circling over Kathmandu for 35 minutes. The pilot announced we were in a holding pattern because there was no runway for us to land on. There was a lot of groaning and complaining as we were tired of being up in the air.

The question is not always do you have faith to receive the promises of God as much as it is Do you have enough faith to go through a holding pattern and wait for the promise to 'land'?

The older I get the more I see how adults can respond to things like babies. I want what I want and if I don't get it, I will cry til I get my way.

I can guarantee that the plane has enough fuel and the controller knows what is best. There will be agents on the ground to help you with your connection and God has not forgotten you.

These moments can feel like eternity. Maybe that is where you are today. You have a desire that burns in your from God, but where are the resources to accomplish my desire? Where are the right people to partner with this desire? Where is the open door?

You have asked and all you get is a holding pattern until further notice? If you have a divine purpose in your life and God has you on hold, Hang On! Stay calm and keep loving Him until He gets back to you. This is one of those time where you have to trust your way through. Wait and again I say, Wait and you will be glad you did. That is a promise you can take to the bank.

I woke with this phrase, "God will make a way."
Have you ever looked up and cried out, "God, why am I going through this. I am standing on the promises, what's up?"

If so, then this word is for you. 'God will make a way.'

When everything looks like it is falling apart, in reality you are just in one of those, 'but God' situations, and when He enters the picture, everything changes.

God has a way of restoring things you thought you would never see again. Satan may try to delay it, but he cannot stop it from happening. Your blessing may not come in the way yo thought it should, or through the person you thought it would, but if God said it, then rest assured He will keep His promise to you.

1 I waited patiently for the Lord, and He turned to me, and heard my cry.

There is nothing like trouble to bring out your true identity. You remember the 3 Hebrew children, right? Most of us know them by their pagan names given to them by Nebuchadnezzar. He called them Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednago after 3 pagan gods.

Their real names were: Hananiah = Jehovah is gracious, Mishael = Who is like God?, and Azariah = God has helped me.

They can call you what they want, but they cannot change what God says you are. Never forget that. Refuse to let them identify you. Don't let them dress you in the garments of the past. Watch the opinions of others. Stand in the identity of who you are and renounce the memory of who you were yesterday. God says you are a 'new creature' and If He says so, that settles it.

We often use the term seasons to describe what God is doing at a particular moment of time.

This is a season for the hungry to gather. People that are hungry for God are being called to gather.

This is a season of accurate positioning. We must be alert and in position and intentionally advancing our mission and the Kingdom of God.

We must pray like never before for leaders and the five-fold ministers along with intercessors and worship leaders and musicians.

We must never forget no matter what is going on in our world, joy, freedom, and abundant life is the norm, not an exception. It is time to be refreshed and healed as we minister to God and each other.

I trust all of you are being faithful with your cards of 5. If not why?

If we are to overcome: We must possess and abide in land we have conquered.
We must occupy our land by 'title deed' ownership rights.
We must realize our identity in God is to rout our enemy.

The issue of authority is important to us. We are an apostolic people and we are to possess, abide and occupy. We can and must rout the enemy in our area...but, only as we continually inititate change through obedience and our decrees.

Many have wandered in the wilderness and this is a time to break out of the wilderness of being 'naturally minded'.

I believe we are in a time where we are being repositioned into our vision and carrying forth our eternal purpose spiritually.

Will you allow the Lord to change your heart and will you hunger for your superatural destiny to be fulfilled? You are to be more 'super' natural and not carnally existing citizens dwelling on earth as though that is your only motivation for living.

Think about it...

The word of God says, "If any person be in Christ they are a new creature".

When will we learn to say about ourselves what God says. Call it what God calls it. I don't care what others call me, God knows who I really am. Whether you are a crook or a cheat, you don't have to stay that way. You are a new creature in Christ. If someone else sees you different from that. That person is operating under the accuser of the brethren, the Devil. When the devil comes to your door with a package of guilt or condemnation, refuse to sign for that package. Tell him, that person does not live here anymore.

Many years ago, in the State of Connecticut, there came what has been known as 'the dark day'. On that day a thick darkness came probably from an abnormal atmospheric condition.

The Colonial Legislature was seated at the time and being a little superstitious, they concluded that the Day of Judgment had come. At that time, all the people belonged to the Puritan Church. The cry went forth, "It is the Day of Judgment. Let us go home and get ready."

An old deacon of a Congregational Church who sat in the Legislature, rose and said, "Brethren, it may be the Day of Judgment - I do not know. The Lord may come, but when He does, I want Him to find me at my post, doing my duty up to the last moment. Mr. Speaker, I move that candles be brought in, and that we go on with the business of the colony."

My how times have changed. Just saying.

The Lord will reveal his mind in prayer through a vessel that has gone through seasons of testing and trial and purification of heart. The Lord uses these tools to refine and define those apprehended for his glory. We can never separate effective intercessory prayer ministry from a sold prophetic word base foundation.

The clearer we press into the mind of the Lord in understanding issues that shape human destiny, the sharper our intercessory cutting edge becomes.

What will eventually define the issues {the transforming power} of your life, family, business, ministry and the society in general according to the scriptures will not be how much of informational truth you have, but how experiential truth has reconfigured and shaped your perception in becoming one with Christ in the place of the intercessory ex*****on of prayer.

Eventually, what flows out of your {innermost being} or belly, the place of awareness will be the determining factor of the next dimension of your intercessory development.

The condition and state of your heart determines the kind of capacity, authority and dominion you will demonstrate in the midst of this present global {crisis} darkness.

Therefore, you must carefully identity and separate yourself from cultural religious defilements and the carnal tendencies that may try to creep in to defile your soul in the place of prayer and intercession.

Those that the Lord is grooming in the present day ministry of prayer and prophetic intercession, need to see and clearly understand the priority of precise representation of the Father’s eternal purpose in their prayer and interaction with other saints.

The dynamics and complexity of the ministry of intercession can be clearly seen through the way and manner Jesus handled issues. When He is expected to go the predictable way, He turns and goes the other way.

He was a strategist in dealing with both political and religious issues of his day. He knew what it meant to be led by the Spirit. The word of the Lord tells us that only those that are led by the Spirit are the Sons of God.

What defines your ability and authority to exercise governmental proclamations in prayer, flows from the position of Sonship. humility, obedience and trust. These are the core values of this order of people that the Father is calling to share in the ministry of prayer. We must never allow our prayer be hijacked or confined by a false image borrowed from the soulish [self-centered} passion of an unregenerated mind.

Every thought and imagination that exalts its self against the written or revealed knowledge of God for our assigned mission must be discerned and dealt with.

Isaiah 2:3 New King James Version
3 Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

Taking the apostolic message of reformation requires apostolic faith, humility, courage, and focus. When opposition comes and you are confronted with voices that ask where did you get your authority to build? You have to remain focused on the apostolic/prophetic mandate and the grace that accompanies it and press through the religious and traditional barriers that are before you.

You have to, by choice, make it a point of duty to see the birth of Christ’s nature and His kingdom manifest in the lives of ordinary people in our community. The Kingdom must advance in and through the lives of those you sit with in community. You must resolve to never give into fear or discouragement.

The Old is passing away and the new wine of the Spirit is being poured out upon hearts that are thirsty for real, for change! We are not hear to play church, but we are hear to change the climate spiritually of our community and the region around us. How do we do this? We do this by continually speaking and working toward an authentic apostolic mandate. This will change the political and socioeconomic landscape of our community and benefit the population of our community.

Every day, people ask me what is going on? What can we expect, for most they believe it is just going to get worse and worse and other it is going to get amazingly better. Which is right? Both! It is going to get worse in the world and better in the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God cannot be shaken and so you need your feet planted there, firmly.

We have to say, that Change has come. There is a violent disruption of the status quo that is rushing into all the nations and it is a roaring and tossing going on. Like a ship on a stormy sea.

Our social order which was supposed to usher in ‘inclusion, equality and diversity, has been distorted to make our social order one of racial inequality. The younger generation many under informed voters are jumping on any bandwagon with out thought and they consider this their revolution. This tearing down of statues, burning the flag, protesting the right to defend yourself, will in history be an epoch that bears their stamp.

The Democratic Party has pushed through programs that will alter the direction of our society and they will not stop until they change the Supreme Court to embrace the structural changes in our nation’s future direction.

In contrast, the Republican party is divided and in disarray. To make it worse, the Christian religious faction has become demonized by the liberal media who bow to the puppet masters in Washington that lie every time they open their mouths.

The republican party is or has been the minority and the Christian view the opposing view. Evangelicals are reeling as being dazed and confused they blame each other for not praying hard enough. Behind the scene major denominations meet to control the flocks to vote on the basis of life issues. While they cannot seem to be able to define a man or woman.

There is an anti christian attitude developing. The world points to moral failures, legal troubles of key figures the church, and values and morals are being thrown out and called hypocritical and intolerant and excluding your fellow man. Do we really need new values and different morals? Can we accept the title Christian liberal? Are there no Social Conservatives?

Do we ignore the greed and irresponsibility we see? Is lack of stewardship worth bringing up as a moral problem? Do you embrace socialism and the redistribution of wealth and tolerance of extreme differences that God forbids?

Are you really wanting a new global order? Is there such a thing as secular spirituality? Has ‘The voice of the people become the voice of God?’

I for one can say that the philosophies of the religious church and the real church or Ekklesia are irreconcilable different. This is about to come into an open confrontation. Don’t let the religious liberals change your mind by attacks of being opposed to good will and progress.

So, here we are with sweeping global changes, and a church that fails to acknowledge that we are in a new season. Look around you and see various religious groups caught up in internal conflicts that range from sexual abuse of children to division over approval of homosexual clergy.

The church is apathetic, and complacent and lethargic to acknowledge the reality of its condition. They hope that the dust with settle and everything return to its former state. Don’t hold your breath. Apathy will cause many to miss opportunities and prove to be demise.

We must not squander our season to steward change. People are disillusioned and new leaders will arise and that that new vision will begin to come forth. Jesus came not to bring peace but a sword that will divide the true from the false.

The outcome will be divides between the church and the nations of the world. The nations struggle to define God and don’t know how to fit Jesus in with their other ‘prophets’.

This season of change will redefine the church. There will be a falling away, and there will be a great maturing of those left. Nations and systems will be shaken. The heavens will subject the earth to divine declarations that have gone forth. Demonic princes will come down and new realities will been seen as people are liberated from the chains of traditions.

Watch as true sons and daughter of God are freed from the yoke of religion. As they are, they will be made ready to represent their Father in the earth.

I see the family of God being put on display with love for one another without regard to backgrounds and the glory of God will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.

The old order of religion will move on to new seductions that will join itself to myths and demonic deception. it will be in this environment that the church will practice righteous rule and emerge as the light and glory of Christ….the City set on the Hill.

Obedience is essential for an adequate foundation. In the parable of the two builders, Jesus made it plain that a sound foundation depends not on studying His teaching and passing an examination, but in hearing His Words and practicing them.

At the beginning of the year we poll the believers as to what God
is showing them at the start of the year that the new year holds.

It was no accident that several emphasized that at the close of the year the Armor of God was highlighted. God was showing us the importance of an accurate migration and journey in this new year.

I want to give you some cannon fodder from the Word of God and encourage you for the next week to use once verse per day and meditate on it.

Psa 121:1-8 NKJV
A Song of Ascents. I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help?�
My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.�
He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.
(4) Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep.�
(5) The LORD is your keeper; The LORD is your shade at your right hand.�
(6) The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night.�
(7) The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.�
(8) The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.
This song expresses our assurance and hope in God's protection day and night. He not only made the hills but heaven and earth as well.

We can never trust a lesser power than God himself. But not only is he all-powerful, he also watches over us. Nothing diverts or deters him. We are safe. We can and will never outgrow our need for God's un-tiring watch over our lives.

As we start our journey this year and we meditate on the implications we see of all the wickedness coming to maturity we cannot but lift up our eyes to the Lord and call upon Him as our help.

Declaration prayer:

Father, at the start of this year, we lift our eyes to You, our God, Our Provider and Our Protector. We declare that our help and deliverance in found in You.

That you for keeping us, and for the ability to trust knowing You created heaven and earth and You are our help in times of need.

I declare that You will not allow our feet to be moved or allow us to stumble as we enter this year. Thank You we are secure in this reality and Your presence is over and upon us and in us. Your Word endures forever and accomplishes what it is sent to do.

Thank You for Your guidance upon us, Your voice, and Your Spirit are clear to us. You preserve us from all evil. WE declare that You preserve our going out and our coming in from now through this new year.

We bless You and praise you Lord, and our God. WE worship You for You are our strength and our Shield.

I am pro-life. I consider this a conservative position. I am not only anti-abortion, but I am also anti-euthanasia also a conservative opinion.

The reason that I am, is because I believe that God is the author and owner of our lives. As Psalms 100 says:

1 Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth. 2 Serve the Lord with jubilation; Come before Him with rejoicing. 3 Know that the Lord Himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. 4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving, And His courtyards with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. 5 For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting And His faithfulness is to all generations.

Next, I believe in small government and the principle of subsidiarity. What does that mean? I believe that matters ought to be handled by the smallest, lowest or least centralized authority. Political decisions ought to be handled at the local level if possible, rather than a state level and ought to be handled at the state level if possible rather than a national level. This I believe opens up space for institutions, other than government, to influence society, such as the church, community organizations, small business owners, etc. If you look in scripture there is a concern about the mixture of power in the hands of a national government. Take the time to read this for yourself:

10 So Samuel told all the words of the Lord to the people who asked him for a king. 11 And he said, “This will be the behavior of the king who will reign over you: He will take your sons and appoint them for his own chariots and to be his horsemen, and some will run before his chariots. 12 He will appoint captains over his thousands and captains over his fifties, will set some to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and some to make his weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. 13 He will take your daughters to be perfumers, cooks, and bakers. 14 And he will take the best of your fields, your vineyards, and your olive groves, and give them to his servants. 15 He will take a tenth of your grain and your vintage, and give it to his officers and servants. 16 And he will take your male servants, your female servants, your finest young men, and your donkeys, and put them to his work. 17 He will take a tenth of your sheep. This new year, I believe that as we look at the complete picture that emerges we begin to see God lifting that which has been hidden a bit for us to see what lies ahead in this new upcoming season. �
I see wickedness, rebellion and sin in the land increasing even more and it will be in the process of coming to its maturity in this World. �
If we study the book of Romans we see this clearly mentioned: �
Rom 1:24-32 NKJV �(24) Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,�(25) who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. �(26) For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.�(27) Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. �(28) And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;�(29) being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, �(30) backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,�(31) undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful;�(32) who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. �
Summed up:
We see the True and the False.
We see the Mature and the Immature.
We see a handing over of those who choose to live carnal lives unto their own debased minds.

There is a greater demand than ever for the TRUE CHURCH of Christ to arise and manifest Christ in the earth. �
As believers we face even more than ever before the challenge of being able to stay focused on Christ.

Live from Christ and stand fast on Christ our ROCK and SHELTER, our place of safety.

More on my views:

First of all, be informed. Don’t just read what you like. Look into other views as flawed as they may be. Compare liberal and conservative views. It drives me crazy to switch back and forth between Fox News and CNN. You wonder if they are reporting the same story. I tend to end with considering the best thinkers, writing from a conservative view. My point is that I intentionally expose myself to thinking from both sides of the spectrum.

2. I value civility. I think that the loss of public civility is tragic. It is very difficult to carry on a thoughtful, gracious conversation on social media without being trolled or having some personal attack on you or someone that follows you. Civility entails showing tact, moderation and just plain old good manners toward people who are different from you and have view point different from yours. For me, part of learning to function maturely as Christians in this world is learning to communicate politely. Familes need to train their children to be civil. There has never been a greater or better opportunity for Christians to shine as lights in a dark world than now.

3. I believe in a balanced federal budget. Historically, this was considered a conservative perspective. In my opinion, running up the national debt that must be paid by future generations is as immoral as You are your spouse running up the credit card and then expecting your children or grandchildren to pay off your debts. Listen to Paul:

14 Now for the third time I am ready to come to you. And I will not be burdensome to you; for I do not seek yours, but you. For the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.
Debt in the Bible is generally seen as a bad thing. So, because of that, I generally oppose increasing the national debt, just as I am opposed to increasing my family’s personal debt.
I believe that national budgets should prefer the people over the politicians and even more the poor over the wealthy. In choosing how we spend money, I believe the government’s first priority is their own people and particularly the poor and needy.
One more passage and I will move on:
Psalm 72 communicates the attributes of a righteous king.

It says in Psalm 72: 4, 12-14 (NIV):
4 May he defend the afflicted among the people and save the children of the needy; may he crush the oppressor. 12 For he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help. 13 He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death. 14 He will rescue them from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in his sight.
