Visited Lake Tahoe but never stopped thinking about work as I toured construction sites, reworked a wine cellar, and got inspiration from a neighboring resort. The table was created from a log removed to build the resort, the ultimate recycling.

This project was a fun take on a "horse ranch style" home, including the bathroom. The shower and bathtub were lined with a brown onyx granite design, contrasted with a soft blue interior.

Running errands to pick up two doorstops, and I can't help but window shop in Ganahl Lumber. Ganahl actually began in Redondo Beach and now has many locations, including Anaheim (pictured here). Always worth visiting, the newest is in the South Bay: Torrance! They cater to the building trade, but you can find everything from paint, to cleaning supplies, to steel beams and more.
