Mimi was makeup artist for International Creative Director Terry de Gunzburg at Yves Saint Laurent who launched her own luxury cosmetic line, By Terry. Desirous to develop her skills further Mimi did makeup alongside LA and NY top photographer Peter Baratti (Guess, National Geography, and Pl***oy) on Pl***oy Playmates (Veronica Lavery and Vanessa Goodmanson) as well. Fussell and Terry de Gunzburg had been an inspiration to her, but her style is her very own. She simply loves “Timeless Beauty”. As she expanded her career in Fine Art School at LA Art and Associates in Sherman Oaks, California, she discovered her new passion for film special makeup effects and started her career in the special effects for entertainment industry. Since then she has worked in several super hit films like Bad Guys ( Awarded Winner 2008 Beverly Hills Film Festival), A Substance of things hoped for, No weapons formed against us, etc. Mimi also worked at Bravo TV on Thinervention with Jackie Warner fitness guru which can be viewed on IMDb. Being of European background she often travels to Belgrade, Serbia, where recently she has become a celebrity makeup artist working alongside well-known fashion designers and famous Belgrade photographer Dejan Miličević. Besides building her successful career as well as her Portfolio this multitalented woman is now enthusiastically taking courses in drawing and sculpture and concluding mastering in special effects for filmmaking industry. Known for her outstanding level of talent and skill Mimi excels at translating beauty trends that are ahead of the curve.
