Happy Friday! HIS has a few household items that have been donated this week to give away. Items include: cookware, bedding, miscellaneous kitchen items, and more. These items are intended for newly arrived international students, scholars, and their families!

✅ We will be open for 1 hour today from 4:30-5:30pm. Doors will open at the HIS office promptly at 4:30pm. The HIS office / Blue House is located at 1550 Jarvis Drive.

Items will be given away on a first come first served basis, with no limit. Please be considerate of other international students as you select items. If you've been able to receive other household items over the past few weeks, allow other students to select items today. Thank you!

The HIS Furniture Giveaway is tomorrow morning! 🎉 If you have furniture you'd like to donate at the event, items may be dropped off on-site at the giveaway from 6-8 AM. The giveaway is located in the north (back) parking lot of Rock Hills Church. Please follow the signs along the east side of the building to the giveaway located in the back.

🚫 We do not accept hide-a-beds, recliner sofas, TVs, appliances, or furniture that is broken, stained, damaged, or missing pieces.

The HIS office (1550 Jarvis Drive) will be open from 8:30-10am tomorrow, Friday 8/16, morning for newly arrived international students to select free household items. These items include: cookware, dishes, bedding, blankets, and other items.

✅ Doors will open promptly at 8:30am and close at 10am.

✅ Please bring your own bags or boxes to carry items.

🚫If you’ve already received household items from the HIS office over the past few weeks, please allow others to select free items tomorrow.

♥️ Though we don’t place a limit on the number of items you may select, please be thoughtful and considerate of others when making your selections. There are many other new international students who would like to select free items as well.
