My Story

Her practice, Dr. Anita Medical Aesthetics, is centrally located in the Upper East Side. After completing her undergraduate studies, Dr. Dormer earned her medical degree from East Carolina University School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina. She is board-certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Dormer began her career practicing in an intensive care unit (ICU) as a critical care and pulmonary specialist. She worked closely with burn victims, which heightened her expertise and interest in skin care. Because Dr. Dormer has extensive training in controlled skin healing and skin health, she opened her own cosmetic medical practice. Patients commend Dr. Dormer for her knowledge of the most complex and critical skin care issues and concerns. She’s known for her caring bedside manner and ability to help clients rediscover radiant, youthful skin. With her artistic eye, Dr. Dormer uses scientifically proven products made from proportions balanced to improve each person’s appearance and overall skin health.
