Split lighting at home - learning about Light is one of the fundamentals of photography. Light is the pallette! by isolating different lighting techniques, students become aware of light and how it affects what we see and perceive. In photo 1 we do not use the lighting studio, but use basic homemade techniques in order to become aware of light. Like with all things, Photography, if you know your stuff, you do not need expensive gear or you do not need an expensive camera. It is not the gear that makes images. Great it is the knowledge in the photographers head. (Well, where else would it be?). 😀 there is a saying that photographers who are great can take amazing images with a five dollar camera.
More fill in flash with gels! Please send me your handles so I can tag you!! Art 395
