New Instructor Spotlight:
Miss Jayde is a new DC Instructor from Savage, MN and grew up dancing at Center Stage Dance Studio and at Prior Lake High School. She has been a dancer for 12 years. Miss Jayde's favorite style of dance is Hip Hop and she loves to dance because she always has a great tine while doing it! Miss Jayde is currently a Sports Management Major with a minor in Marketing. Outside of dance, Miss Jayde loves to read and write! Her favorite color is blue.

New Instructor Spotlight:
WELCOME MISS TAYLOR
Miss Taylor is from Andover MN and is a junior dance therapy major at Minnesota State University, Mankato. She's been dancing since 3 years old and danced competitively with Vogue Dance Company. She was Miss senior Spotlight and first overall at spotlight dance competition her senior year (2022) as well as dancer of the year at celebration dance competition in 2021. She has a 1 year old cat named bean that she absolutely loves. Miss Taylor loves to paint & play music. Her favorite colors are purple & pink. One thing she wants her students to know is always dance for yourself anytime chance you get, and have fun doing the thing you love. Miss Taylor loves to dance because it gives her a way to express and create and dance gives her a community of people that she loves. Her favorite dance quote "Life Happens, Dance Helps”

WELCOME MR SCOTT!!! New Instructor Spotlight:

Mr. Scott, Ballet Instructor, is a part of the Dance Conservatory’s Instructor Development Program. He oversees the instruction for Ballet A & B, Pre-Pointe/Pointe, and Adult Ballet classes. He is currently the costume shop manager for MNSU’s Department of Performing Arts.

Mr. Scott grew up in the larger Philadelphia and New York City areas. He has been a dancer for the last 25 years. Favorite roles include Renfield (Dracula, the Ballet), Fawn & Stag (Four Seasons), the Herald (Swan Lake), and the Rat King (The Nutcracker Suit).

Mr. Scott’s favorite dance genre is Ballet; however, he has developed a keen love for Irish Step and Swing Dance. He dances because it can uplift the soul and connect us to a higher ideal. A dancer must experience their art inside and outside of the studio. Learn all that you can and make it your own. Fun Facts: his favorite colors are lilac & moss green; he’s an avid reader and has a B.S. in Biology from Penn State University, a B.A. in Design & Technology from Desales University, and an M.F.A in Costume Design from Indiana University.
