I John 4 KJV

1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

19 We love him, because he first loved us.

20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

The Spaghetti Dinner is almost here. Come join us this coming Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 4-7pm to raise money to help benefit the children that will receive a precious shoebox for Christmas. Remember, for some of these children, it might be the first and possibly only gift they will ever get. Something so small and insignificant to us might seem like the world to these little ones. Please find it in your heart to help in any way you can. Please let me know if you would like any tickets.

BibleWalk is re-opening the dinner theater this year. These are the scheduled dates. We're offering a discount for our first performance on July 15th. Please give us a call for details and info. When you're out shopping for essential items, please remember the retail workers out there are putting their lives at risk just to stay open and serve you so that you may have the products you need to survive this pandemic. Not only are they restocking those shelves you are emptying, but they are also now tirelessly disinfecting all the articles you come in contact with. Please be courteous and don't forget to thank them as well.

Just wanted to send a shout out and a HUGE thank you to all my fellow cleaners/janitorial people out there. I know most people never even give us a thought or even a glance let alone a thank you, but we're the ones responsible for helping keep things clean and disinfected. It's always been our job, but it's a very, very important job. It is no small undertaking and at times very tedious (not just the cleaning, but also finding supplies). With the current world situation, it has never been more important. We're not only doing our job, but we're going above and beyond to make sure we keep you happy and healthy. We're not looking for any praise or glory, we're just asking that you don't throw us under a rug or treat us like garbage and throw us out. We are essential.... even though we are overlooked by virtually everyone.
