NAMI RC was busy last night supporting multiple events and carved out time to celebrate the inauguration of the Rotary Clubโs new president, Kyle Swigart and celebrating a great year led by DJ Daniels!
Rotary is such a great club/organization that believes in service above self and provides many services to Richland County including roadside cleanup, McGowan scholarship awards, community donations and much more! Looking forward to representing mental health through this great organization!
A great evening last night discussing mental health, education and support services at Legacy Academy of Excellence & NAMI Richland County:JUNETEENTH FREEDOM DAY CELEBRATION !
NAMI RC was honored to be a sponsor and supporter of this new resource for youth K-8 and thrilled that Legacy hosted and spoke on the importance of mentorship and breaking the stigma on mental health!
CIT class #32 was a success! A BIG thank you to all of our partnering agencies and especially the Richland County Mental Health And Recovery Services Board for continuing to fund and host these trainings!
We had an amazing time today at Summer Fun Camp and look forward to coming back over the summer! So thankful for opportunities to foster emotional awareness with the youth in our community ๐
