Hello everyone,
The Unity Day lighting ceremony was a great success. The individuals who worked diligently to ensure this event was memorable was Secretary, Kiana Medley and her beautification committee, and let’s not forget about Mrs. Hendricks’s who also put in a tremendous amount of effort and work. These are the pictures from that day. The picture of the tree with the colorful lights symbolizes the differences, which exists within our communities and on our campus, while also showing how "We" as a university need to be united as one whole. It doesn't matter what's your, ethnicity, origins, race, s*x, gender, s*xual orientation, socioeconomic status, and have a mental disability "We" the community will be stronger, when united and stand together.
Good morning everyone,
First, let’s commend SGA Secretary Kiana Medley, Mrs. Hendricks’s, and to all the students who diligently helped with assembling and hanging the decorations all over campus, and in both lower and Upper Manser for Unity Day. That being said, if you haven’t already, you should go check-out the cool decorations, in both Lower and Upper Manser. Enjoy your Monday!

Every Friday start wearing the color red to show support to our servicemen and servicewomen and to let them all know that we have not forgotten them and appreciate their sacrifice to our country.
On April 3, 2015 SGA wants to have the entire campus show their support by wearing red. There will be a photo taken of all of those who show their support at the football field at noon on this day.
Not only will the color red be showing support to the troops, but it will also be supporting our University. This is a great thing to do for our military and for our school! Please come out and show your support!
Always Red. Always Proud.
