Metro Edge Homeschool Debate and Speech Club
Metro Edge is a Christian debate and speech club for homeschooled students in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area who are affiliated with the NCFCA league.
Metro Edge is parent sponsored & student run. Our vision is to promote leadership among home educated youth, while still maintaining parental involvement. The club provides the opportunity to learn and exercise analytical and oratorical skills, addressing life issues from a Biblical worldview in a manner that glorifies God. "Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe." 1 Timothy 4:12

Join us for the Metro Edge Speech and Debate social on July 24th!
Metro Edge Speech and Debate is an opportunity for homeschooled students ages 12-18 to grow as communicators alongside like-minded peers. Our coaches help students learn the basics of speech and debate and continue to hone their skills through competition (optional.)

We are having an open speech practice, where our students plan to present the speeches that they will be delivering at an upcoming regional tournament. The open practice is on December 13th at 12:00 at St. Joseph the Worker Church.

Most of our tournaments were online this season. This provided our students with the opportunity to learn how to effectively communicate on NCFCA's new online platform.
