Students had a great time on Wednesday night caring for their friends who couldn't use their arms, and it meant lots of entertainment for those of us watching. This week our topic was: friends don't miss a chance to care for each other. From the story in Mark 2:1-12 we learned two important things about caring for our friends: we should care for our friends regardless of what anyone else might think, and the best thing we can do for a friend in need is bring them before Jesus.
You were promised action shots. We are bringing you action shots! Such a fun time competing with Mens Ministry on Wednesday night. They better watch out, we are coming for them next year!
NSL and Men's Ministry had a great time playing kickball last night! It was a great opportunity to have two different ministries at Northwood Church come together to have a ton of fun together. Expect more action shots in the upcoming days!
Hey NSL Students! Next week at Northwood Church is Vacation Bible School and they could use some extra help with volunteers! If you are an NSL student that would like to volunteer, send me a message and I can get you more information!
Day 5: Share day, arguably the most challenging day. We were sent out to a park in Denver to have Jesus conversations and share the gospel.
Day 6: Finishing the week on a mountain top praising God for all he did this week. The speakers challenged us to bring what we have learned back to each of our communities.
Day 3: The team visited Columbine High School and spent time interceding in prayer over their own schools, family, and the world.
Day 4: We went out to care for the city of Denver by putting on a carnival with games, food, and fun. Our students stepped out in faith by knocking on the doors of houses around inviting them to join the fun, and asking them if they had any prayer requests and praying for them.
Day 2 (so far): Today we have explored in Garden of the Gods, had lunch, and grabbed a quick treat before heading to campus for Lead THE Cause!
Lead the Cause team has arrived safely outside of Denver. We’ve had a wonderful trip so far and looking forward to a wonderful week. Thank you for all the prayers. Keep them coming.
Our NSL team heading to Lead THE Cause early this morning. Pray for safe travels and an impactful trip!
