Creating is my happy place. It can be designing, sewing, painting, bridal, events, photo shoots, interior design, etc…. It helps to fix whatever is going on in my life usually. I have been struggling since Month 3 of pregnancy. It has been so hard to get back in the groove of it. For months I have done the bare minimum. Help!!! How do you get out of a rut when your usual way to get out of a rut isn’t working????

This is one of the garments that I am most proud of. I made this dress for Mama’s 90th birthday while I was living in Washington DC. Mama loved this dress! She wore it to church almost every Sunday. She loved telling people that her baby girl made it for her. Regardless of what I accomplish in life... this will always be my #1.
I’m 30 minutes from actually finishing this wrap skirt but the last 2 weeks have been so busy with client work. However, I can’t wait to wear it.
