It's that time of year when our entrance signs change - at least for a little while.

Elizabeth Riddle (4-0-4-374-1237) is spearheading the effort this year. If you'd like to recognize your Senior (high school or college) then simply Call, Text or EMail her. (email included in blast to all residents)

She will need your child's name and college. She will know more about the respective costs, once she has gotten that information from the sign company.

Please contact her soon so that you don't miss out on getting your kid's recognition on the entrance signs.

Pool Update:
Today they are cleaning and prepping the pool surface. The crew will acid wash today. And lastly put down a bond coat.

Actual plastering begins next week.

2022 Nomination for Secretary – Camden Place Homeowners Association 2022 is just around the corner and a slate of nominations has been received for three positions on the Board of Directors. We have nominations for President and Treasurer BUT WE DO NOT have any nominations for SECRETARY.

New Team Starting Up

Want to get great exercise, have fun, and strengthen relationships with your neighbors? Let’s play Sunday Women’s ALTA tennis! A number of neighbors have expressed interest in starting a new women’s Sunday ALTA team this Spring. Right now I’m exploring if there is enough interest to start up this new team.

The level will depend on who is on the roster but the target level would be a low B/ high C team. The spring season runs March 20 - May 1. Play is on Sundays at 1pm and ideally we would get a coach to provide our team lessons 1/week in the evenings.

So, are you a good/bad news first kinda person?

Well, I’ll start with the good….as life moves back into more normalcy in our community that means we are all getting out and about more and more. This also pertains to the availability for some of the food trucks that have been visiting our neighborhood for over a year. Their business continues to pick up which I know we are all glad for these small business owners to be busy!!

Bad news is there does not seem to be one available for this Thursday.

Please be patient as we navigate these busy summer months. Moving forward we may/may not have a food truck available each week. I will be in touch when one is available.

Mark your calendars for next Thursday, 6/24, as we will have Gyro Chef at the clubhouse.

Also working on more sweet treats for this summer.

"Registration for the 2021 Camden Waves Swim Team is NOW OPEN! We welcome all swimmers from age 4-18 that are able to swim the length of the pool unassisted and are excited to meet some of our new neighbors!

Due to COVID protocols imposed by Cobb County, the neighborhood has decided not to swim against other neighborhoods in person this year, in order to preserve the fun nature of the meets for our kids. Please note that this means that your swimmers will not be eligible to swim in the Patty Wilder State meet this year. If this is a concern for you please reach out to Allison Barclay to discuss options.

We are excited to make this a fun developmental year for the team, and anticipate returning to the Cobb County Summer Swim league next year. If you’re new to the neighborhood, swim team offers a great way to meet neighbors and burn off some energy each morning. Feel free to reach out to any of the coordinators with questions or concerns.

CPHOA Homeowners Association monthly meeting is Sunday night at 7:30 pm. You should have received an email with the login credentials.

Camden Place HOA Board Meeting - Sunday July 26th @ 6:00 pm EST.

The meeting will be held online.

Our May HOA Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, May 31st, beginning at 6:00 pm EST. Login emails have been sent to all residents.
