We are very excited to welcome Dr. Cheryl Vargo to our Animal Dermatology Clinic - Marietta family! 👏

Dr. Cheryl Vargo graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) in Saskatchewan, Canada and received her DVM degree in 1999. After working in general practice for four years, she completed a rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship at Carolina Veterinary Specialists Referral Animal Hospital in North Carolina, followed by a combined small animal internal medicine residency and Master’s degree program in veterinary science at WCVM.

Dr. Vargo achieved Diplomate status in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) in 2008. She moved to Athens, Georgia after working in both private practice and as clinical faculty at WCVM. Dr. Vargo pursued and completed a specialty internship, second Master’s degree, and residency in veterinary dermatology at the University of Georgia. Dr. Vargo’s interests in dermatology include atopic dermatitis, endocrine dermatopathies, and immune mediated skin disease.

In her free time, Dr. Vargo enjoys doing agility and dock diving with an energetic Australian Shepherd.

Happy Anniversary, Dr. Arden Peck (Klinzcar)! 🎉 Dr. Peck (Klinzcar) is a Veterinary Dermatologist at Animal Dermatology Clinic – Marietta. She joined the ADC family 6 years ago and we are so grateful to have her! 🤩

Dr. Peck (Klinzcar) received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Georgia Southern University. She attended the veterinary program at St. George’s University and graduated with honors in 2017. 🎓 Before graduating, Dr. Peck (Klinzcar) completed a clinical year at NC State University and discovered her passion for veterinary dermatology. Then, she completed a rotating internship at Cornell University before accepting an American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD) residency position at Animal Dermatology Clinic – Marietta. Dr. Peck (Klinzcar) achieved Diplomate status with ACVD in 2021. 🤩

In her free time, Dr. Peck (Klinzcar) enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, and cooking. 🥘 She also enjoys going outside and hiking with her island dog, Banks, and her two labs, Riley and Nala. 🐾
