Know someone looking for some extra money? The Mansour Conference Center needs energetic folks to set up meeting rooms for special events! Schedule is very flexible. An ideal side job for college students or second job for the super motivated. Must be able to lift and move 50 pound tables and chairs and set to diagram specifications. Can you spare a few hours to help us bring Christmas to the Mansour Conference Center? We are on the hunt for some Christmas loving, eager elves to deck the halls of the Mansour Conference Center for the holidays! If decorating your own home just ISN'T ENOUGH for you, and you'd like to help out, we have ALL THE THINGS! Beautiful decorations abound, but we just don't have the folks to make it happen. We are hoping to pick one or two days or evenings to bring the holidays to life...November 13, 14 or 18 are our target dates. Hope to get several folks on one or two select times, so it's not overwhelming for any. Let us know if you are ready to get in the spirit! (And don't forget...proceeds generated by the Mansour Conference Center supports the Center for Family Resources' work to move people to self-sufficiency through financial stabilization, housing and education!)

1. Responsible for opening and/or closing the Mansour Conference Center, based on scheduled arrivals or departures of caterers, vendors or guests.
2. Shares the role of primary contact person during Mansour Conference Center events, responding to guest needs which include lighting or temperature adjustments, beverage services, audio visual services and other issues which arise.
3. Monitors upcoming events to ensure catering kitchen supplies are adequate. Purchases catering supplies as needed. Ensures room set ups are appropriate and beverage service and snacks are prepared and available when requested.
4. Schedules catering services, by working with caterers and guests, ensuring event dates and times are accurate, menus are agreeable to guests and invoicing is accurate and complete.
5. Sets up beverage and full conference service, ensuring break areas maintain a clean and neat appearance and appropriate food and beverages are served at designated times.
6. Sets up and connects audio visual equipment as requested by guests.
7. Greets and directs Mansour Conference Center visitors, including resident agencies and CFR clients, volunteers, and conference center clients. Provides outstanding customer service and demonstrates diplomacy when interacting with guests and resident agencies.
8. Acts as primary contact for telephone inquiries regarding meeting room availability and rates. Responds or refers inquiries as appropriate.
9. May monitor and update client contact information, meeting reservation changes, and invoicing.
10. Monitors cleanliness of meeting rooms, public restrooms, public hallways, and maintenance needs of the Mansour Conference Center. Addresses urgent issues immediately by cleaning or repairing if possible, or reports to Facility Manager to ensure proper action is taken and reports bigger, ongoing custodial and maintenance issues to the Facility Manager.
11. Washes and puts away serving dishes after and during events, and washes and maintains adequate supply of table linens.

The Mansour Conference Center has large gathering space with a capacity of 350 available Sundays for church services. Contact us at 770-701-0315 if you know of any newly forming churches looking for worship space.

Due to the forecast for inclement weather tomorrow, January 29th, the Mansour Conference Center will be closed. We plan to reopen on Wednesday, January 30th.

The Mansour Conference Center will close at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 21st, and will reopen on Wednesday, December 26th. The Center will also be closed on Monday, December 31st and Tuesday, January 1st, reopening for the new year on Wednesday, January 2nd.

The Mansour Conference Center is all decked out for the holidays! Ready for all your holiday gatherings...we still have dates available in December. It's not too late to book that staff breakfast, luncheon or after hours. We would love to show you our beautiful venue and packages.

Do you love Christmas and decorating for the holidays?! If so, we have a terrific way for you to get "in the holiday mood!" The Mansour Conference Center is seeking volunteers to help us deck the halls! With about 8 trees of various sizes, we need help getting them all dolled up for the holidays! The trees will be up and lit...we just need your assistance and creativity in doing the fun part...the ribbons and bows and balls and all that great stuff. If you are interested and available on November 12 or 14, morning or afternoon, let us know by calling 770-701-0315. We promise to keep you well fed and hydrated too!

What a fantastic day it’s been! First, our staff was treated to Tom + Chee food truck delights and a bag of goodies by our fabulous board members and Gala Chair, Kim Gresh of SA White. And then the installation of our fantastic new digital signage was completed! We couldn’t be more grateful!

So excited! "Our movie" is coming out in November!!! We had a wonderful experience watching it happen right here at the Mansour Conference Center! A great family movie, with lots of big stars and local sights...plan to check it out!

Exciting news! The The Center for Family Resources and the Mansour Conference Center will be experiencing some unusual hours and closures over the next three weeks, because Paramount Pictures will be filming an upcoming movie in our building!

Because of this, both CFR and the Mansour Conference Center will be completely CLOSED from Monday, March 19 - Friday, March 23. During this week, March 12 - 16, and also the week of March 26 - 30, the building will be open, but some areas of the building may be inaccessible, and parking will be limited.

We thank you for your patience as you work with us to help make this exciting opportunity go as smoothly as possible for the next three weeks! (No, we can't divulge the film just yet, sorry! But we are very excited and can't wait to see the movie once it is released next year!)
