Join SWE @ KSU and WIT Campus in a joint event presented by Travelport! Travelport HR and Technical employees are coming to the Marietta campus to speak about how to go from a full-time student to a full-time employee. Topics covered will include:
Job Description: Decoded
- What do job description requirements really mean? Travelport speakers will 'translate' common job description requirements that confuse student s while
job searching.
Technical and Behavioral Interview Techniques
- The speakers will provide insider interview tips from both an HR and technical manager perspective.
How to Follow Up
- So the interview is over, what are the best way s to follow up and ask for feedback?

- Here we'll cover: How to do work well, Mastering the work-life balance, and effective communication in the workplace
There will be refreshments for all (those who RSVP get priority). There will also be a Q&A session and Networking at the end.

We had a great 1st day of SWE Goes Pink. In 3 hours, we raised $180! That's a dollar a minute! Shout out to Adeline, Angel, Amber, Chimaelle, and Victoria for (wo)manning the table yesterday. We have 3 days left so it's not too late to donate your time, money, or some delicious baked goods. 😆

Since 2011, SWE KSU (then SWE SPSU) has fundraised in honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All proceeds from SWE Goes Pink go to Loving Arms, a local cancer outreach organization that provides support not only for cancer patients, but also the friends and family who are involved.
How do we raise money? By having a good-ole bake sale! Baked goods and other sweet treats are donated to the SWE KSU section, and we sell those to people on campus. There are no price points on any of the items. Supporters are encouraged to donate as much, or as little as they can, and in return, they can get one item from the table.
