Years ago, I decided I needed a coffee/ tea station in my dining room, and with a small kitchen, there just wasn’t space. I acquired a small dresser & a family member gave me a cute bookshelf. Painting them the same soft blue, I just lightly glued the legs onto the dresser top. The drawers house tea, coffee, extra cups & a few dining room accessories. Something simple yet useful. What are some of your re-purpose ideas?

We love it when a plan comes together.. todays’ event is a gorgeous nod to the early blush of spring, everything from pale tones to pops of rhubarb pinks , coral, deep hues of purple with creamy white and lavender…. framed by the Atlanta skyline, this country club setting was perfect for a great party themed in southern garden designs… 🥰😍🌸

What is Love Notes? I had a lovely woman ask me when I was talking about my work.

Love Notes is my floral design business. A little background: I started performing music for weddings at the young age of 20, and really quite literally found a niche , a love & passion for all things related. A few years later, when I married the love of my life, I knew I wanted to continue what I was already doing, just adding more aspects. And because David had launched a music contracting & playing business, also entitled Love Notes, we made it simple by offering services under the same name. So I trained and apprenticed with a dear friend and mentor in the field of Event Planning / Directing and Floral design & decor. Because I loved it so much, I wanted to maintain a good handle on my clientele and by choice kept it as a home-based boutique business. So, while I’m not a brick & mortar( physical store location), I have worked hard to maintain my supply chains with the same professionals and colleagues that do run a retail operation. Over the years, I relied on connections with churches, venues, and network referrals, so very grateful for those continuing. These days, social media has been a large portion of marketing and networking. Pros and cons to all of this, yet my post is more informative and personal for those curious about how Love Notes came to be and a bit of vision casting for a new season. Now, I would present to you an opportunity to help me get the word out by your own promotion of my skills, artistry & knowledge. In other words, help me help you! And thankfully, with my 35+ years in this area, I bring experience and a desire to make visions come true. A facilitator is really what I do. Weddings, themed parties and Showers, Office Decor , Get Well, I Love you, Congratulatory vases brimming over with creative color palettes and unique designs… my goodness, us people really do rely on beautiful creations to liven our environment & celebrate the most treasured days of our lives… thinking outside the box, we can do it all , and I’d love to elevate with you in this my friends… So, while I’m a wife, mother and now grandmother, musician and artist, my family inspires me to keep this going.., and I would love to share more of Love Notes in 2024!
