Gold & Coin Exchange is seeking an individual to fill in a 40 hour full time position. 10-15 hours per week in a bookeeping role and the balance in AML compliance administrative work.
Bookkeeper responsibilities include:
Recording day to day financial transactions and completing the posting process
Verifying that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
Bringing the books to the trial balance stage.

Bookkeeper job duties include working closely with our Accounting team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments. Our ideal candidate holds a Finance degree (preferably followed by accounting CPE courses) and is familiar with QuickBooks

Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

We are looking for someone who is trustworthy, reliable, hardworking, doesn't cut corners, and thinks critically. Place merchandise in protective packaging, problem solving large orders, lifting heavy (up to 75 lbs) items as necessary, operating basic shipping tools.
Maintain the company shipping/stockroom through organizing, cleaning and inventorying/ordering items on a regular basis.
Schedule packaging of shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient time complete shipments in time for USPS, UPS, and FedEx pickups.
Complete adherence to all shipping instructions given by the supervisor.
Troubleshoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them. Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling.
Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
Serves customers by helping them select products.
Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
Assists with inventory management.
Must be a high school graduate or GED equivalent; currently college or undergrad degree preferred.

Here’s a beautiful 8 cob that was found as part of a real pirate stash shipwreck. Historians attribute the wreck with the taking of the Spanish 1628 Fleet in Matanzas Bay, Cuba by the Dutch pirate/hero Piet Heyn who reported losing two of the vessels on the way back to Europe. The treasure was accidentally found in 1964 off the coast of the Grand Bahamas Island in the 🇧🇸. Since the accidental discovery in 1964 around 10,000 silver cobs have been found in just 10 feet of water 1300 yards of the Lucayan Beach. Almost all the pieces have been eight and four cobs.
