Showcase Day!

Showcase is tomorrow for all of our registered players❤️❤️ It’s going to be a beautiful day for baseball/softball⚾️🥎
💥Each player needs to bring their baseball equipment
💥Coaches meeting is scheduled for this Sunday
💥 Parents will hear from their child’s coach no later than Tuesday, February 27th and practices will begin the week of March 3rd
💥Our Opening tournament is scheduled for the first weekend of April!

🌟Adult Spotlight🌟
Kayla started attending our adult sessions in September after not seeing the results she wanted in the gym. Started with 3 sessions per week and is now attending 5 days a week!!! Since then she has dropped 19 pounds and gained 5% in muscle!
This is the definition of dedication and hard work💪🤩 Keep it up! We are so proud of you!

AVP let’s get ready for a new way to get our kids active. Now presenting The Mighty Duckers Dodgeball League!! After alot of request for a dodgeball tournament we have decided to host a 4 week season in the month of March. Kids will rule over everything. Pick thier own teams and coach their own teams! February 26th will be the league draft night where team captains and all players will be in attendance. I repeat kids rule over everything. Their league, their teams, and their rules!!

Teams are filling up fast and the support has more than met our expectations! We are in need of more GIRLS to round out our teams in Coach pitch, 9-10 , and 11-12 age divisions! So girl moms share and spread the word!
Remember we created this league for development/growth but also for kids to be able to play multiple sports/leagues at the same time. We feel playing multiple sports/leagues is extremely important for our youth.
Having one week night game will allow flexibility! So don’t hesitate to sign up❤️🥎⚾️💙

⚾️🥎 Get your kids signed up for the new baseball/softball league coming to Avoyelles! No boundaries and everyone is welcome to play in the league no matter where you live. This will be a new and exciting opportunity for our kids to finally come together and play as one; which is something our communities should have been doing!! There will be a player evaluation to help make fair teams, after which kids will be placed on teams. If anyone has any questions reach out to Hessmer Sports Club. There is a new era coming and the mission is to reach and unite all the kids of the parish!! Together we are stronger!!
