Today at Kateri Day Camp, campers had a cool treat thanks to Collier Board Member Janet Giunco who brought an ice cream truck. “I wanted to do something nice for the campers and when I saw the smiles on their faces, I knew it was worth it,” Janet stated.
After a hot day of playing and swimming, each camper thoroughly enjoyed their treat! Thank you Janet for always thinking of ways to make our campers’ summer brighter! 🍦☀️
Mental health matters! You can still achieve greatness and prioritize your mental health—the two go hand in hand. Let this be a reminder to take a moment, day, or week(s) for yourself, put yourself first, and then see how high you can soar!
Kateri Day Campers totally rock!! Check out some of these amazing photos of our campers climbing to new heights thanks to the Monmouth County Park System and the portable rock wall that they brought to camp.
The Social and Emotional Learning Group at Collier High School’s Extended School Year Program fills their summer weeks with daily activities and sessions that promote healthy coping skills and relaxation tools, like tie-dyeing, animal-assisted therapy, music playlists, and more. Students build connections while supporting their mental health and each other.

Meet our 2024 Shepherd Award Honoree, Alan Robinson!
Alan Robinson, the 2nd generation owner of Woodhaven Lumber and Millwork, faced academic challenges as a youth, yet found his way to a college degree from Stockton College. These early hardships inspired Alan to support Collier Youth Services for over a decade, ensuring youth and young adults receive opportunities for support on their journeys. From being a long-standing Chair of our very successful Annual Golf Classic to an annual Corporate Sponsor--Alan’s impact on Collier is unmatched.
Alan consistently sets the example of using success as a tool for giving back to others. He not only works professionally to build homes but personally to build community.

We were so fortunate to have such an industrious group of volunteers from Lennar come to Collier last week. Not only did they clean up the playground, clear out and set up the 100 acre wood, paint picnic tables, and chopped fallen trees that had blocked some trails--all in preparation for our summer programs--but Lennar also made a generous donation of $60,000!
Thank you Lennar for being such a great partner and supporter of our youth and our programs!
We were fortunate to be a volunteer site for Keller Williams Red Day--their annual day of giving. We had a crew of volunteers paint and build picnic tables, clean up the Kateri Garden, power wash the wigwam, and sort a huge donation of bathing suits and towels for the start of Kateri Day Camp.
Thank you so much to all the Keller Williams volunteers who made this day and the start of camp so magical!
