Shocked to have received these awards during yesterday's office meeting! In a market center with over 600 agents, I'm grateful to have been chosen for these awards. Still shocked, but very excited. Feel good story to start the year, true and personal to me! I Woke up this morning to a text message that really hit home and I thought I'd share the story.

I worked with this guy a few years back. Technicians would drive all over the tri-state installing, repairing and calibrating scales, so often we'd sit in a truck together and just talk on our way to the next job. I had the pleasure of meeting this guy, (whose name I'll leave out,) who was troubled with life in the sense of feeling like he was always struggling, down in the dumps, feeling like the American dream was no more than a pipe dream and the added stress of difficulty having a child with his wife, likely due to all the undo stress just had him in a funk. (They had gone to doctors and were looking into any and all options to have a child and nothing seemed to work.) We'd speak at length about our lives and our pasts, (mine more than his, i'm so selfish,) self awareness and some of the things I've learned and tried regarding self awakening, spirituality and the like. I shared, "the secret," by Rhonda Byrne with him. This was January 2017 if I'm not mistaken.

Today I woke up to this text message...

"This is (Name left out intentionally,) we worked together at, (name left out intentionally.) Thank you!!!!"

That was literally the message, to which I replied, "Great to hear from you, hope all is well with you and your wife." The response I got afterwards nearly brought me to tears.

"I hope you and your family are healthy and happy. Thank you for opening my eyes to the secret. It changed my and my wife's life and I can't say thank you enough. Thank you, thank you. "

I find the greatest pleasure in believing I had any part in helping someone on such a deep level. Not physically, financially or out of necessity, but just because . I'm so grateful anything I shared helped him find positivity in what seemed to be a bottomless black hole. While I recognize he did all the work and take little to no credit for this. I am so beside myself to have received such a positive text after over 3 years of not speaking with someone.

He went on to say that after our conversations, he dug deeper into the idea that what you put out is what you get. They focused their energy on what they wanted and visualized it. They let go of negativity and just trusted that things would work out. He concluded the text by saying he and his wife actually have a 2 year old girl they're blessed and grateful for, and for some reason, thinks I had something to do with that.

Positive mindset, positive results. Proof is out there.
