We recently went into the studio to record our version of "Witch Hunt" from RUSH's Moving Pictures album. It was our honor and privilege to work with two of our heroes, Terry Brown and Hugh Syme; along with our good friend and recording engineer on the project, Michael Washkevich.

“Witch Hunt" will be released on all streaming platforms and premiered on Glenn Hamilton's radio shows (info below) starting April 12, 2024.

***Hail to the QOFE*** Overtime Angels has been affiliated with many wonderful people throughout the years but one that has been near and dear to our hearts was VP of SRO/Anthem Pegi Cecconi. We are incredibly saddened by the news that she has passed away. She was a dynamo, a friend, a queen and a strong supporter of our charity. We recently met up with her for dinner in Toronto and Picklefest at Henderson Brewery. There was nothing but non stop laughs around this woman. During her career she received three Juno Awards including the prestigious Walt Grealis Special Achievement Award. Last year she received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Music Publisher Canada (MPC), being recognized for playing a significant role in shaping the Canadian music industry over the course of the past 40-plus years. Pegi, may the lord forgive you for holding the Guinness Book of Records for the most F-words ever. You will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace our beautiful friend. 🙏♥️

It is with great regret that Overtime Angels has to cancel RushCamp! 2024.

We were very much looking forward to seeing you all again, but because of the renovations at Independent Lake Camp and post-COVID pricing, we would have to pass on a substantial additional cost to attendees. Also, our primary goal is to raise money to support our mission of helping others in crisis and this would have been near impossible given the overall event costs.

We want to direct everyone’s attention to other Rush-related events going on this summer. The Rush Family Reunion organized by Ron and Teri Watts is returning after six years. The itinerary for the multi-day event from July 16 to 20, includes a long list of festivities in Toronto including a sunset cruise and concerts with tribute bands including Permanent Waves: A Show of Rush, who performed at Overtime Angels’ “A Night for Neil.”

Also, Peart Family Events is holding two-days of fun Saturday-Sunday, Aug. 25-26. The Peart family will be holding their events at Lakeside Park starting at 4 p.m. that Sunday and their annual fundraising golf tournament on Monday. Henderson Brewing Company in Toronto, home of many delicious Rush beverages and collectables, will be hosting its second "Rush Day" that same weekend on Sunday, Aug. 25.

Please support our friends in their endeavors.

But we aren’t going anywhere. Stay tuned to the Overtime Angels page for some exciting news. We’ve got a few surprises up our sleeve that we’ve been working on that we will unveil soon.

**DOUBLE ROCKET SAUCE ALERT** There are two Rush tribute bands that are near and dear to our hearts and are both playing on Saturday March 9th. As a matter of fact, these bands have played at our biggest fundraiser of the year and annual event RushCamp! If you are south of the Mason Dixon line, Cygnals is playing and is having a Rush Fan Appreciation Night at the Fallston Barrel House in Fallston MD. If you are north of the Mason Dixon line, Solar Federation is playing at Halftime Sports Bar and Music Venue in Newark, DE. Both of these bands are in the elite group when it comes to representing our favorite band with setlists that dive into the favorites as well as the B-sides. Come support these folks that we promise will not disappoint!!!

For those who celebrate, Overtime Angels would like to wish you and your loved ones a very Happy Thanksgiving. Remember, today is about family and love and all of those things, big or small that we are grateful for in our lives. You will be hearing from us soon!!!

Overtime Angels was happy to present a check to the Ray of Light Recovery Cafe whose mission it is to help individuals in crisis as they battle their addictions. The Cafe was founded by an amazing woman who lost her son to an overdose. Her pain and grief turned into this safe haven for others to share their stories and help each other on their sobriety journey. Diana, you are amazing!

Ep. 176: Danny Peart Danny Peart is a poet and the brother of Neil Peart, and he joins us this week to give his unique perspective on his famous sibling. He talks about his life with Neil, his poetry, and what it was like performing at the long-postponed Night for Neil benefit concert that took place in 2022.
