On this date in 1993, Tom Glavine, of the Atlanta Braves wins his 20th game of the season which marks the 3rd consecutive year he won at least 20 games. This is a feat that may never be done again as the game has changed. Glavine would go on to win 305 games, 2 CY Young Awards and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in 2014.

10u Cardinals take home their first championship as a team this afternoon going 3-0 with 3 CG performances from Anthony Fevola, Griffin Lee and Austin Palmer. The team outscored their opponents 32-6. Stellar defense and timely hitting really opened the door for the Cardinals all day.

So many awesome performances and great plays by these boys today! A total team effort on display…. Congrats Boys!
