We’re looking for compassionate, dedicated EMTs to become part of our team! At Morganville First Aid and Rescue Squad, we’re more than just a service – we’re a family. Each member plays a vital role in our community, helping neighbors in times of need and making a real impact.

The passing of Bob Jessen is a profound loss. Bob served with the Morganville First Aid & Rescue Squad as a Past Captain, President, and Trustee, but his legacy goes far beyond titles. He was a dedicated EMT and CPR instructor, sharing his expertise throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties. Bob was also the visionary behind our Explorer Program, now known as the Cadet Program, and we have him to thank for creating this invaluable program that has shaped so many members of our community. He was often found at our building, warmly welcoming new members with a friendly hello.

Rest in peace, Bob. You are deeply missed and will never be forgotten.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Peterson, a beloved charter and founding member of the Morganville First Aid and Rescue Squad. Peter dedicated his life to serving our community, always answering the call when help was needed. His selflessness, kindness, and unwavering commitment to the well-being of others have left an indelible mark on all of us.

His legacy will live on in the lives he touched, the people he helped, and the community he helped build. Our hearts go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Peter. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Morganville First Aid and Rescue Squad is a nonprofit EMS agency delivering services to the residents of Marlboro Township. Our services are fully staffed by dedicated volunteers, sacrificing time with family and loved ones to give back to the community. Over the past 72 years, MFARS has delivered free EMS care at no cost to the community. To continue providing this service, we need financial support from our community.

To give perspective on some of our costs:
• 1 Portable radio: $8,000 per crew chief
•1 Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) : $1,500 per vehicle
• Autopulse Chest Compression Bands: $500 one time use
• EpiPen: $250 one time use
• Uniform Set: $400 per volunteer

Simply said, we are at a critical point in our squad's history. We aim to continue providing high-quality EMS to our residents in need. Any amount that you are able to donate will greatly support our squad's mission.
