Our gorgeous emcee for both Arangetrams, . She did an amazing job 👏. She had the elegance and calm required for a classical dance presenter. Put in a lot of effort in sitting through many of the rehearsal sessions, understanding from me each and every item's meaning, choreography and essence. Researching every item independently too and repeatedly revising the script with me. And most of all, being a close friend, her support to me as well as my student's families was invaluable 🤗

We all look forward to Chitra aunty's onam every year. Love and warmth fills the air and we all feel like we are home. Thank you Chithra Menon and Rekha Menon for this beautiful tradition. And heartfelt gratitude aunty for all the love and support for me and my students from the beginning of Takajum.

Preetha and Lopa preparing for an energetic varnam. Fast paced abd challenging, they have worked hard to get every bit perfect. So proud of them.

These little birds of ours made all of us very proud. They depicted a beautiful composition of the great poet Mahakavi Bharathiar - Chinnanchiru kiliye at the Goshala Day by Guruvayurappan temple as part of Tamil School team. A song very close to my heart finally presented by my little students. ♥️. Thanks to the parents who organized and coordinated everything.

Adult batch did an awesome job at NAMAM cultural event today at Guruvayurappan temple. Age is just a number and it is never too late to explore the world of dance ❤️. Proud of thess ladies who wear several hats and manage to set aside time to learn and practice dance amongst the craziness that is life.

Wishing all dancers and dance lovers a wonderful year ahead on World Dance Day.
As the world gallops towards technological advances we all get blinded by the incredible power of the human brain. But let's not forget to feed our mind and soul. Let dance heal the world and bring humility and empathy back in vogue.

A walk down memory lane ... As we prepare for our Arangetrams 2024 I was browsing through the pictures from 2019 ARangetram.

When Sheethal and Megha decided to arangetram, one thing I wanted was to do an outdoors shoot instead of the typical studio shoot. And thanks to Parvathi Kumar Photography LLC the pictures came out just amazing !
