When the doors of belonging slam shut, forge your passage.

In 2023, so many things were destroyed, with so many doors closed. The past five months have become the front-runner winner to sponsoring my mid-life crisis - the lowest point on my timeline despite the sickest moments in my 20s.

Suddenly, I could not overcome obstacles, challenges, or chaos that I usually thrive in. I lost my sanctuary/home and my possessions, I got laid off, and I lost "friends," and due to those circumstances, I had to take a break from the only comfort and normalcy I knew my academic studies.

However, though several doors closed, I was able to remain in remission from Crohn's, no issues with IBS w/CD, no flares and most importantly, no hospitalizations. I have battled my foe's depression and anxiety through counseling, released the control I thought I needed, and submitted to the unknown to faith as small as a mustard seed because that was all I had left beside the many angels that supported me along the way (you know who you are).

Towards the tail end of 2023, I've been told:
• I am over-qualified
• Not quite qualified
• Impressive but not needed

But I was also told that those opinions do not define who I am; it is time to show them who I am, that I am loved and deserve to be loved, and to repurpose my talents, skills, and creativity into myself- the bigger picture.

Spiritually, I have begun to decode the signs, symbols, and messages sent to me. I began to hear the messages whispering in my ear and the wind. I began to rise, smile, and dance a little to the beat of my own drum, which allowed me to re-work my inner self and transform my previous business into . A tribute to my lifepath number (9) and the number of Iya Mesan/Iyaasan/Yansa/Yansan/Iansa/Oya and to the gales/intense wind/burst of sound, which symbolizes disruptive change.

The Nine Gales of Yansa is an organization that unapologetically tears through realms & barriers preventing Women from healing through every season of life by addressing, balancing, & nourishing all gales to help women achieve optimal health, wellness, & healing through disruptive change.

Our Nine Gales Philosophy: Is a comprehensive framework that encompasses various dimensions of health & well-being originating from an amalgamation of ancient wisdom & modern insights, it strives to promote holistic wellness across multiple aspects of an woman's life.

The Nine Gales spread the nectars of our foremothers by focusing on:
1. Physical Health: Focuses on physical well-being, including nutrition, exercise, & preventive care to address physical imbalances & promote vitality.
2. Wellness Health: Services include stress management techniques & mindfulness practices to help individuals cope with emotional challenges & maintain mental clarity.
3. Emotional Health: Services counseling or spiritual navigation techniques that promote emotional resilience.
4. Spiritual Health: Services may include meditation, yoga, aromatherapy, sound healing or other practices that encourage spiritual growth & connection with one's inner self or a higher power.
5. Wealth Health: Services include philosophy & psychology of wealth & financial building principles.
6. Restorative Health: Focuses on cultivating healthy relationships with the womb.
7. Health & Wellness Advocacy and Education: Focuses on assisting women with advocating for themselves & improving lifestyle choices to adopt healthy routines.
8. Holistic & Nutritional Health: Includes Herbal & detoxification products tailored to specific needs.
9. Community: Inclusive supportive community where women can galvanize to share experiences, gain support, & learn from others on similar health & wellness journeys.

Services offered at the Nine Gales of Yansa:
Consulting: General spiritual consulting services include 1-1, small group, and public speaking engagements.

Doula: Iya Birth Oracle Doula services included prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum care until the baby's first birthday. Sound healing, nutrition, birth etiquette and education services are available. Unique services such as Al La Carte and travel services (more than 1 hour away from Marlton, NJ) are also available.

Womb: Iya Birth Oracle Sacred Portal Services (Sarai, Hala, & Iya) helps women cultivate positive relationships with their wombs, learn about menstruation around the moon cycles, and focus on womb nutrition.

Education and Advocacy: Women's health, period poverty, and more.

The NGO Yansa Experience: Features workshops, gatherings, and soon retreats, so stay tuned for more.

Though my New Year does not begin until Spring, I am excited to sew, reap, and harvest the blessings of the disruptive changes of 2023 forced into my life this year. I look forward to continuing my growth and services to our mothers and daughters.
