👣 How are your feet functioning? Poor foot function not only causes foot pain but it also contributes to pain in other areas of the body.
For example: Flat feet or a fallen arch can cause the foot to roll in. This motion can change the normal biomechanics of the ankle/knee/hip forcing you to adapt to a slightly different movement. Over time, the stress can lead to suboptimal function causing pain not only in the ankles, knees or hips, but also elsewhere in the body.
Do you want to improve your health? Have more energy? Feel better overall?
Accomplish these everyday and see how you feel!
How is your body functioning?
The human body is dynamic. We use many different tools and techniques in addition to chiropractic adjustments to get your body functioning optimally.
We like to spend time with our patients to address the whole body which means less visits in our office and more time enjoying life!
We love what we do!
🛑 How does your head look right now?
In todays society, everything we do is out in front of us. Over time this can lead to forward head posture resulting in upper back pain, neck pain, headaches, numbness/tingling into arms, and more.
What can you do?
- Work on posture (remind yourself)
- Exercise
- Take breaks from phones/computers
- Stretching
- Chiropractic care
Hip and low back pain is a common complaint from our new patients. One common reason for low back / hip pain is muscular imbalances. When muscles are not working at their full potential, other muscles are forced to compensate. This leads to excess stress and tension in the area.
We perform many different tests to see how the muscles are firing. This helps us identify which muscles need to be activated, stretched, or strengthened. These all affect alignment or tension in the body.
Addressing the whole body allows our patients to notice big improvements in healing.

Vitamin D is a critical nutrient that influences the body in many ways. Adequate levels are essential in maintaining optimal health.
You can get Vitamin D naturally from:
-Sunlight
-Fish
-Eggs
A blood test measuring Vitamin D is an effective way to determine where your levels are and if you need extra support.

How is your posture? Do you find yourself constantly slumped over? Posture has a huge influence on your health.
Do slumped and upright postures affect stress responses? A randomized trial
Results:
Upright participants reported higher self-esteem, more arousal, better mood, and lower fear, compared to slumped participants. Linguistic analysis showed slumped participants used more negative emotion words, first-person singular pronouns, affective process words, sadness words, and fewer positive emotion words and total words during the speech. Upright participants had higher pulse pressure during and after the stressor.
Conclusions:
Adopting an upright seated posture in the face of stress can maintain self-esteem, reduce negative mood, and increase positive mood compared to a slumped posture. Furthermore, sitting upright increases rate of speech and reduces self-focus. Sitting upright may be a simple behavioral strategy to help build resilience to stress. The research is consistent with embodied cognition theories that muscular and autonomic states influence emotional responding.
