We are in some of the most sacred religious times for many of our students. Easter is this Sunday and MHU is closed for the Good Friday holiday. But this also is the holiest time on the Muslim religious calendar. Ramadan, a month of worship, fasting, and prayer, began on March 10 and lasts until April 9. We asked Muhammad Bilal, a senior international studies major from London, England, and a member of the menβs soccer team, to tell us a little bit about this faith tradition.

Montreal, day 1: Notre-Dame Basilica. Truly awe-inspiring place. Our group did not want to leave. Maybe it had to do with the serenity this church inspires; maybe it had to do with the bone-chilling wind outside. Excellent visit either way π.
