Let's Not Reduce! Listings are selling at or over list price for the most part. Over the last seven days there were only 43 price reductions throughout Snohomish County. A well priced home will sell fast and generally at list price if not more. The housing inventory is critically low which is driving up home prices. When the inventory of homes is at a low point as it is today home sellers that overpriced their homes just a tad will just have to wait a week or so and then make a minimum adjustment then it will sell. Setting a price above the market is never a good strategy in any market. Last week real estate brokers in Snohomish County turned in 262 pending sales, posted only 215 new listings and completed just 43 price reductions. It's a very good time to be a seller in Snohomish County.
