Debra Boucher-Payne from Synod of Mid-America (PCUSA) announced that this year, 8 (!!) higher ed scholarship grants (out of 27 total) were given to members of PNKS churches. WTG scholars! 🎉

We are excited to have Elder Sally McMillen share about how God is working in our Frankfort Presbyterian church through the Alzheimer’s support ministry. The group is currently on a break but will return in September. It meets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 1:30pm.

September 8- October 6 is the season of peace. We will be taking a look at Gods plan for peace in our world, in our lives, in our communities and in our relationship with God. As we explore this you are invited to sign up for the following devotions centered on the subject of peace.

The VH Food Pantry at the United Methodist Church in Blue Rapids will be open this Saturday, July 27 to serve families in the Valley Heights Communities. 9-10am

130 kids and 80 middle and highschool youth here at Synod School. This group of children and youth has taught all of us who God is and what the church is like!

At Synod School tonight and we go to have communion. The pastor says “all who hear the call to come to the table.. come” and my niece says “Let’s go!” May we all come to the table with the same excitement and readiness.
