WE'RE BACK! Our lead teachers are officially in the building! They're working hard finalizing lesson plans and preparing everything your kiddo needs when they come into class. We can't wait to see you all in two weeks!

Did you know we use the #1 Christian Preschool Curriculum to teach our students? Abeka’s curriculum features a traditional approach to teaching and learning, cross-subject integration, spiral review, and plenty of hands-on activities. Students in our Pre-Kindergarten classes not only learn letters and their proper name, sound and formation, they also learn handwriting, letter blends, and so much more. The Abeka preschool program for our Pre-Kindergarten classes serves as a bridge between a preschool experience and kindergarten, ensuring your child is ready and prepped to be successful in Kindergarten and grades beyond.

Ms. Lina is another one of our amazing teachers here at RockCreek Preschool! This will be her third year with us. She loves seeing her students learn and grow, and her goal is to make sure every student feels cared for, safe, and loved. Ms. Lina's perfect day would be going on a morning hike with her friends to watch the sunrise, grabbing a coffee, then spending the rest of the day with her family, especially her baby nephew. Your kiddo is sure the have an incredible year in Ms. Lina's Pre-K class!

What an amazing summer for our RockCreek Church Kids Camp! It was so great seeing our current students and our previous students worshipping, celebrating, learning, and HAVING FUN!

Say hello to Ms. Sheyla! Ms. Sheyla has taught in both our Toddler and Preschool classes, and is loved by all her students! A few fun facts about her: she taught elementary school for 9 years in the Dominican Republic, she loves to travel and explore new places with her husband, and she has the cutest Golden Doodle named Marvel. This is her third year at RockCreek Preschool and we are so lucky to have her!

Meet Ms. Amanda, our preschool class extraordinaire! Ms. Amanda has worked for RockCreek Preschool for 9 years, with the last 6 years as a lead teacher. When she isn't working, you can find her hanging out with her husband, their three kids, and their three massive Mastiffs. During the summer you can bet that she is camping more often than not! She is a die hard Seahawks fan, so expect her in her jersey every Friday once Football season starts!

Our Toddler program, for ages 2-3, is where little ones discover the joy of learning and friendship! Not only will your Toddler learn colors, shapes, and number recognition through our curriculum, but they'll also develop their motor skills, build confidence, learn to follow classroom directions, and are encouraged to participate in interactive play with their peers.

Our very first Teacher Spotlight goes to Ms. Kaitlyn! Or as we like to call her, our Toddler Whisperer! This will be Ms. Kaitlyn’s 5th year at RockCreek. Her perfect day would consist of going to Lake Cavanaugh with her husband and kids, enjoying all the water activities, and reading on the dock with a Shirley Temple in hand 🍒 We know your Toddlers are going to have the best year with her!

Coloring has many benefits, from helping to develop hand-eye coordination to color recognition. And in Ms. Kaitlyn’s toddler class they are learning this first hand!! So pull out those crayons and coloring pages (which you can find for free online) and get to coloring!!
