A good article. And I feel the same way. Which is why EVERY single time I install Windows 10, I have the network disconnected, so I can use an offline account.
I Will Never Use a Microsoft Account to Log Into My Own PC - ExtremeTech Windows 11 Home will now require both internet access and a Microsoft account in order to set up the PC. Nope.

Always be sure of a file someone is trying to send. If you don't know the person, or it is from a trusted person but you weren't expecting a file, don't download it!
