I have to admit--it's been quiet a while since I've had someone request an industrial, but when this client called in the other day asking for walk-in availability I couldn't say no!

He was such a pleasure to chat with and we are both very happy with how his new piercing came out. Thanks for looking!

Today I had the pleasure of working with asymmetrical lips on this gorgeous client who came to me for a philtrum piercing (a.k.a. medusa).

When working with asymmetry, I always make sure to take special care in addressing my findings while mapping out piercing placement. After discussing my findings with this client, we agreed that a facial midline approach was the best fit.

This beautiful Hamsa piece is up for grabs, but first I wanted to shed some light on what this symbol means.

The Hamsa is a talisman of great fortune, happiness, and protection across Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish, and Islamic cultures. It also has been valued for its religious symbolism since early Mesopotamia (a.k.a. mondern-day Iraq)!

In Judaism, the Hamsa is referred to as the Hand of Miriam (the sister of Moses and Aron). Miriam's impactful life ultimately led her to becoming a symbol of prosperous luck and protection. It is also thought that the five fingers of the Hamsa signify the five books of the Torah!

In Muslim culture, the Hamsa is referred to as the Hand of Fatima (the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad). Her ties to this symbol render it a sign of strength, protection, and power. Each finger also signifies the 5 Pilars of Islam!

Now, in Buddhism and Hinduism, the hamsa actually has a very different meaning than our aforementioned cultures. For Hindus and Buddhists, the hamsa represents the chakras. These five senses and their associated mudras that re-direct energy flowing throughout the body, include: thumb-solar plexus chakra, forefinger-heart chakra, middle finger-throat chakra, ring finger-root chakra, and pinkie finger-sacral chakra.

Lastly, regardless of your beliefs or religion, keeping this tailsman nearby will surely bring its wearer an abundance of positivity, protection, and good fortune for a lifetime to come. A beautiful labret repierce on such a kind client! He originally was here for our tattoo flash event, but decided to get poked on a whim!

This client's dad brought her in to get a rad tragus piercing, but what she didn't know was that I had the perfect piece of jewelry for her!

It's said that tragus piercings can aid in the alleviation of anxiety and migraines, and that was our ultimate goal. I hope that this Evil Eye piece grants you the protection and peace you seek, friend!

This client originally came in to get tattooed but overheard my conversation with a piercing client and decided to get poked, too!

Last night was wild! With all of the rain and tornado warnings, I was not expecting a client rush--but this amazing human not only kept her appointment, she also was so much fun to work with!

You're probably thinking, 'Didn't you already have a piercing page?' Yes, yes I did. No, I do not want to talk about it. Anyway, to give you some background--I began my journey October 2020 after many years of searching for the right environment and mentor to finally begin my journey as a body piercer/modification practitioner. I have over 10 years experience as a healthcare worker in fast-paced care environments, health education, and CPR/first aid instruction. I am also a mental health first aider and an LGBTQIA+ inclusive artist.

I'm very passionate about intricate, multi-step works. These pieces take weeks or even months to not only prepare for but to achieve the final result!
