In Charlotte? Please join me this Saturday, 9/23 @ 11am @ the Mint Hill Library for PICTURE BOOKS ARE FOR GROWN-UPS TOO: CONNECTING WITH OUR STORIES, CONNECTING WITH OTHERS!!!

This is going to be so much fun!! You'll receive lunch from El Cilantro Restaurant and a copy of THE LITTLE HOUSE OF HOPE by Terry Catasús Jennings and illustrated by Raúl Colón. (I just picked up the copies from Main Street Books -- Davidson, NC 😊).

Over a shared meal, we will consider the themes in the book. Then through conversation and writing prompts, you'll have an opportunity to consider your story AND hear others share theirs too. Ultimately, these tiny tales will lead to big connection because picture books are for grown-ups too!!!

This event is hosted by the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library Mint Hill branch and generously sponsored by the Arts & Science Council Thank you!!! 😊
