Well Worth It

It is with a great deal of sadness to announce that my sweet Max, who was 17 1/2 years old, went to Doggy Heaven today. He was my first dog I ever had, and my and Fred’s hearts are broken to let him go. We know he is in a better place and no longer in pain. My boys, Grant and Alex, miss their little brother!! We know my mom, Tillie, is especially glad to see him again. Today was a very sad and emotional day! Max was very much loved by everyone whose lives he touched.

FACTS ABOUT CUCUMBERS

Hello Friends, I apparently have selling in my blood! I tried to retire at the end of last year by selling my space in Indian Trail to one of my vendors, Carrie. Who did an amazing job of creating a store that is not only beautiful, but hugely successful. I applaud her and her wonderful husband, Barry for transforming their business, White Barn, into the best place to shop in Indian Trail!! That being said, I felt I needed a small space to call my own. I got a booth at The Depot in Gibson Mill in Concord. At first I was afraid to let anyone know since I announced I was retiring and moving to the beach. However, like I said initially, once you have it in your blood, it’s hard to let go! I wanted to do a live video in my booth, but unfortunately there were so many folks coming in and out, I couldn’t get it done. If you remember, I always had Shauna do my lives at Well Worth It. The best I can do is show you a couple of photos at this time.

Hello all, I have truly been enjoying my retirement. As some of you know, I am not a morning person, so sleeping in has been a real pleasure. On a more serious note, I have been very concerned for everyone regarding the Coronavirus. I firmly believe that if everyone follows the guidelines, we will beat this! I also believe in the power of prayer. God is here for us all during this trying time. Ask him to lead you in your decision making. America has always triumphed in times of crisis, so let this be a time where we focus on helping others and not panicking and hoarding things. God will provide and give us what we truly need. Have faith in Him and we will get through this as better people than we were before.

Since I LOVE to read, I will be offering to sell my books via my page. All you have to do is private message me and let me know what you are interested in, and I will get back with you quickly. I will have porch pick up from my home. This time of containment is a great time to catch up on reading your favorite books. I love and miss you all!! Julie

Happy New Year!! We all need a fresh start, every day! Yes, we made mistakes in 2019 and, unfortunately, we will still make them in 2020, but hopefully we learn valuable life lessons in the process. One of my life lessons is that we all want to be loved. I have tried not to get my feelings hurt so easily, and I will probably always battle with that. My sister Susie is reminding me daily to just LET.IT.GO!! Easy to say, and not so easy to put into practice.

My next chapter is life is still to be discovered... I will miss all of my wonderful customers at Well Worth It, but I hope to still reconnect with many of you!! You all have made the last 4 1/2 years truly wonderful. I wish you all the best for 2020!! Julie

While Well Worth It will be closing its doors on December 31st, you all will never be forgotten! I’m not sure what my new chapter in life will bring, but I am ready to embrace it.
