Graded a Sloped Back yard for Pool install

Neighbor had water shed from Hoa and the house next door.
Put in a French Drain with Catch Basins down the side of the house and into the back yard.
Everything now Flows to the Street and exits Via Pop-up Emitter

This Project Incorporated a little of everything.
We Started by removing the old deck and failing CMU block wall, Excavated for 2 new Belgard SMU walls as well as a French Drain across the back of the house that is directed to a 50gal. Flo-Well Basin with Pump to exit via 2" Pvc. We Re-Graded the Back yard, seed fert and Straw, then we restored the old gravel driveway, and Freshened it up with 30tons #57 Stone and Tamped it all in.

We have been on and off thos property for 5 years as their back yard has Completely Transformed
This time we removed the Oaks and rerouted the irrigation so we could extend the wall down the side of the pool, adding g more usable space up top and planting some privacy trees. We Finished it off with some Fresh Fescue Sod and White Gravel in between the stepping stone.

Neighbors yard was causing erosion issues with the driveway so we created a channel to route the water into a French Drain with 18" catch basin and 6" Pipe.
We created a berm and installed some Camelias

Really enjoyed Adding 3 Natural Stone Tree Rings, pavers, FlagStone Walkway, new plants and a redefined Flower Bed for our Friends at

Standing water was coming from clogged foundation drains. Connected the downspouts, added a 2nd drain on the side of the house with catch basins. French Drain in the back to allow the water to exit behind the fence via pop-up emitter. Re-Graded the backyard and side and front ditch. Seed, Fert and Straw

Sure Enjoyed this Grading Job. due to the rain, it took us an extra week, but the final product turned out really nice.
We separated 250+ tons of Rock from 500+ yards of dirt. Reporposed the Rocks to make a Natural wall so we could raise the Grade 2.5 feet in the backyard for a future pool install. Extended the drains and went from 10 outlets to 5.
Looking forward to seeing how this turns out in the coming months.

The original dry creekbed had given way to the elements over the past 13 years. We removed and repourposed the Old Stone imported New River Rock and Pea Gravel. Installed a New Drainage Pipe, Reset the Stepping Stone, relocated 7 bushes from front to the side. Some Metal Edging and Fresh Mulch with Erision Fabric

Pavers we're a solid choice and we step the curve down to accommodate for the grade change.

7+" of rain had washed out this ditch, some 8" Pipe Fabric and an 18" Catch basin with some frock at the outflow will correct the issue.

With all the rain we've had since the first of the year, Drainage is definitely something you need to get control of.
We dug out and created a swale down the fence line to contain the massive amount of water from causing foundation issues with the house.
Graded out an area for level pit seating. And Our Friends JM Fence Crafters came in behind us to build a new Split rail and Privacy Fence with 5ft Double Gate.
We also removed some over grown bushes and 3 trees that were going in the old fence.

Cleaned up the old flower beds around the house, installed New fabric and Fresh Mulch. We will install new plants once the winter weather subsides.

We removed the old vegetation and Topsoil, installed downspout drains with pop-up emitters. Then graded with 20 yards of clean Topsoil from seed fert straw.
Afterwards we decided to remove the sidewalks and replaced with a more modern look using Pavers

After we got the concrete out last week, we removed all the vegetation, imported topsoil, played w**d barrier, and spread fresh Mulch. We will plant new bushed in the spring.
