Warriors take on ROME➡️ Day 1

Warriors arrived at 7:30 am Rome time and we hit the ground running! We spent the day at Center City, Rome.

Places visited include

4. Pantheon
5. Piazza Navona

We are having a BLAST and creating awesome memories!

There will be a golf cart shuttle for those who need assistance. Handicap loading/unloading will occur in the handicap spots in the front middle school lot.

Lily will be a business major hoping to focus more on finance.

Taylor will be an education major focusing on elementary education. Taylor said she hopes to teach Kindergarten as she had an amazing Kindergarten teacher at Antioch.

Lily and Taylor have been friends since 8th grade- THIS is what Warrior Nation is all about! We hope that everyone has at least one Warrior BESTIE 💚

It’s time to celebrate senior Bentley Roche🎓🎉

Bentley moved to Weddington from Nebraska in 7th grade. If you know her you know she is a social butterfly who is always smiling and laughing with EVERYONE!

Bentley is going to be a GAMECOCK and is so excited! She will major in International Studies. Bentley’s love for travel and the ability to see the world from different lens is what inspired her decision.

Over 8 colleges applied and $180,000 in TOTAL scholarships and merit aid.

We would like to give a huge shout to senior Davis Ledford

Davis will be attending Florida State and participating in their study abroad program. Davis will spend a year in Florence, Italy as a finance major and then will return back on campus after a year to complete his studies.

Davis applied to over 8 colleges with a YES to all and earned a grand total of over $162,500 in scholarships!!

Congratulations Davis- Warrior Nation is so PROUD!

WHS students in French and Chinese classes teamed up to celebrate our staff for teacher appreciation week. Each team created a poster in Chinese, French, and English. These students demonstrated being an effective communicator and skilled collaborator!
