What's your definition of "balance?" Leave your answer in the comments below!⁠

The great thing mindfulness and Intuitive Eating is it allows so much FLEXIBILITY!⁠

Balance isn't always eating "healthy," working out, and being productive one day, then also eating donuts, resting, and having some lazy alone time the next day. It's not always one or the other.⁠

Sometimes balance is having the donut AND pushing through that workout. Other times it's adding in fruits and vegetables AND skipping the workout when you don't feel up for it.⁠

When we allow ourselves to practice mindfulness without judgement, the goal is to do what feels best at the time - both physically AND mentally.⁠

This means:⁠
🤍 Not letting your movement dictate your food choices⁠
🤍 Practicing self-care by having some relaxing alone time⁠
🤍 Making an effort to see friends because you know it will lift your spirits⁠
🤍 Listening to your body to learn what triggers your IBS symptoms or doesn’t make you feel well⁠
