Beginning Monday, Jan. 29, intermittent lane restrictions will take place on Conant Street between the AW Trail & the Fort Meigs Memorial Bridge due to work taking place on the sewer manholes.

The work will happen throughout the week, weather permitting, and the lanes will be fully open in the evenings.

Please use caution as you drive through the area. Thank you for your patience!

In an effort to safely install the first steel arch spanning over Conant Street closest to the Maumee/Perrysburg Bridge, we will be closing Conant Street from Wayne to the Bridge Friday November 10, 2023 from 9am to Noon.

Without this temporary closure we can not assure appropriate safety to workers, pedestrians and motorists.

URGENT UPDATE:

The Ohio Department of Transportation, (ODOT), in an effort to complete paving of the Anthony Wayne Trail prior to intense winter weather is moving to close specific lanes at the intersection of Conant and the Anthony Wayne Trail the week of November 6th. Without these closures and resulting inconvenience, we will have no chance of re-opening this major thoroughfare through the winter to more than 2 lanes.
