We have been keeping this info in house for quite some time but I think it is time to share with everyone! We have partnered with Fox Valley Meal Prep to provide a healthy alternative for food.
I know we all struggle to find that quick, healthy meal at a time when life seems overwhelming. We find it easy to just run through one of many fast food joints and order the poison. Well we have an alternative!
Once a week, we order from Fox Valley Meal Prep and have pre made meals on hand for you. We have several clients that pre order from us so that on Wednesday they have their meals for the next week.
I have posted the meals with the macros. We have several meals on hand but the plan is to order fresh every Tuesday so that the meals are here on Wednesday. Please feel free to reach out to Doug with any questions.
Oh and by the way, they are delicious and a lot less expensive than fast food!!!
I have been debating on creating this post for quite some time, but I think it is time to share it. I know some of our clients right now could use the motivation. As we continue down the road of life and focus on our own journey, a lot of us ask ourselves, at some point, WHY? Let me see if I can help answer those questions.
Let’s turn the clock back to August 2015. Cale and I were solely focused on racing MX. We literally spent every waking moment training for MX. Our season started in April and continued through October, on weekends, if we were not at the track racing, we were training at our local track. During the week, we tried to ride once a week and focus on the gym the other days. Winters we usually spent a couple of weeks down south riding just to stay conditioned.
Wednesday, August 19, 2015, life changed forever. Cale, Sue and I spent the afternoon at the track, training. We were able to get in our motos and have a little fun while the pit boss provided her necessary support, food, goggles and laughs. Once we got our motos done, we loaded up and headed back home. Mind you I had an early morning meeting in Des Moines on Thursday, so I headed out Wednesday night.
As I travelled to Des Moines Wednesday night, life changed in the blink of an eye. I won’t go into details but for the next two months, I spent time in the University of Iowa hospital and then three months in Reedsburg at a rehab facility. Our family was faced with several challenges during this time. For a short period of time, we were faced with a life-or-death situation, compounded by the fact that the doctors had no explanation as to why I survived the accident, except for the fact of my physical conditioning.
Throughout surgeries, rehab and day-to-day life, Sue, Cale and I kept asking ourselves, why? Why did this happen to us, what is our mission, what are we supposed to do? These questions have haunted me for years, asking myself, why? What is my mission in life?
Once the fog cleared and life returned to normal, we continued our dream to build a MX Training Facility with a fitness center. In true Ninneman fashion, go big or go home attitude, we decided to add a large fitness center to our training facility. As we grow the MOTOvation Fitness center, every day I see where Cale’s passion in life lies. As a family, we have become a strong team.
About two months ago, Cale and I were having one of our caffeine induced brainstorming meetings. In the middle of the conversation, Cale says to me, “Do you know how many people’s lives we have changed?” BAM! There is the answer to a question that has been on my mind everyday since August 2015. It has now become clear as to why!! Through our fitness center, we have made a huge impact on people’s lives for the better. We have been able to guide people on their fitness journey to a better, healthier lifestyle. As we all know, a healthier lifestyle impacts EVERYTHING we do in our life.
So, as you drag your butt into the gym, there is a reason for it. Sometimes we don’t know WHY but we still go AND we feel so much better after a workout. We truly are thankful for all the clients that pass through our doors and give us the opportunity to change their life.
As we finish up week 11 and enter our last week of the tournament, I am excited to see how this plays out. It looks like less than 100 points separates the top five teams!! This last week is going to be interesting!!
Stay tuned for the results…….
